Giving one star because I can’t give zero

This restaurant was a complete disaster from beginning to end. The server/manager had the worst attitude — no respect, no courtesy, absolutely zero professionalism.

Restaurant closes at 2.30 PM, we called at 2 PM to confirm the timing since we were a group of 30 people. The moment he heard “30 people,” he suddenly became very eager and said he would keep the restaurant open until 3:30 PM. Honestly, it felt like he became greedy after hearing the group size. Based on his promise, we went there and placed our initial order.

Around 3 PM, we asked for an additional cake — something they only needed to bring from the bakery. Not from the kitchen, not cooked, nothing. Suddenly he said, “The kitchen is closed.”
What does a closed kitchen have to do with picking up a bakery cake? This clearly showed he didn’t want to serve anymore and was purposely showing attitude.

When we reminded him, “You said you’ll keep it open until 3:30,” he rudely replied, “I can’t give you.”
And in front of families and small kids, he even threatened to call the cops on us — for simply asking for something he promised earlier. Completely unacceptable behavior.

And the food? Absolutely horrible. They added so much artificial color powder that even after washing hands, the color didn’t come off. Just imagine how unhealthy that is. We even have a picture of our hands after eating — the color was stuck like paint. That alone shows the quality they serve.

If you care about your health, your money, and your peace of mind, please stay far away from this restaurant. Everything here — food, service, attitude — is a complete failure.

Avoid at all costs.

The food was SO good! Plus the staff gave us extra chutney without charging because we loved it so much. Having been to India, this place feels quite authentic with friendly and helpful staff, and the food is really delicious. I especially liked the Mango Lassi, mint chutney, Paneer Kurchan, and Goat Makhani.

The biriyani and samosas were delicious and well-prepared. The quarter chicken Tangdi Kebab was not exactly as described on the menu, but I’m sure this will be improved going forward. Overall, a good experience worth trying.

This is only my second time dining at this restaurant, and both times great experiences the staff is knowledgeable about the menu, accommodating and polite. It has standard diner style seating, but with a uniquely graphic decorative design on the walls, which definitely gives it an authentic Indian feel. The graphic photos of raw spices works perfectly with the pleasnat aroma when you enter the dining room.

There are a variety of lunch specials. I ordered the Vegetable Curry, and my friend ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. Both dishes came with naan bread, rice and lentil soup. The presentation was very appetizing and both meals were very flavorful and delicious. I have had Indian food in the past that is too spicy, however this was extremely well-balanced and perfectly seasoned and cooked.

If you want authentic Indian food this is definitely a great choice! This will become a common location on my culinary radar.

Don’t visit this restaurant! It’s a WASTE of your money. We had to wait more than 30 min for our two orders of curries. And the chicken biryani tasted so bad with microscopic portion size of chicken that we barely found. This is the worst indian food I’ve ever had. They are ruining the name of indian cuisine in USA. On top of poor portion size and mediocre taste, they charge you 3% extra for paying through your credit card!!

Service is amazing and food is delicious! My fiancé is a celiac and we come here to get safe, gluten free meals that are comforting. Large portions and the chai is warming. Highly recommend. One of my favorites.

The absolute best Indian food I have ever had! We come to the area about two or three times a year and have to get this food when we are in town!! Mind you where we stay is 45 minutes away from the restaurant. They have the absolute best service and food. The staff is extremely helpful and can help you decide on what you want if you are unsure or new to the cuisine. They always go above and beyond to ensure that the food is quality for what you are paying for and you feel like you are a part of their family. If you are in the area and are craving Indian or want to try something new, do yourself a favor and try them out. Their cheese naan Is out of this world.

Some friends and I went to lunch one afternoon. The experience overall was amazing. They do have a lunch special menu during the week and the portions are incredible. We started out with one of their appetizers that were a little round sesame ball with a balance of both sweet and savory flavors. The lunch Menu dishes come with the main entrée as well as a vegetable curry and jasmine rice. Naan is served on the side. Our table tried the Vindaloo, Chicken Masala, and Chicken Madras. Their dessert menu has many selections: we tried the honey balls and mango cheesecake. The staff was extremely attentive and provided explanations. Overall, a pleasant experience in a beautiful setting.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Phenomenal Experience!

I recently moved to Fort Walton and have been on the search for a great Indian restaurant — and I finally found it! This place was absolutely phenomenal. The customer service was exquisite, the food came out incredibly fast, piping hot, and full of amazing flavor.

As a special bonus, they even let us try their rice pudding, and it instantly brought back childhood memories of my grandmother making it. That alone made my night.

I will 100% be coming back. Highly recommend!
