I avoided this location for a while due to quality and service. Recently returned after suggestions on Facebook stating to give them another shot. No regrets. Crispiest sandwich. This one was their friend pickle one. Which I also ordered the fried pickles. I knew they were about to be good when he said “we drop them fresh so it will be a 3 minute wait”. They were amazing. I will say quantity for price was off but I didn’t even care due to the freshness, they need to serve ranch with it though.

Came in with my husband, took about 10 minutes before our order was take . Waited another 25-30 minutes for food. My ghost pepper chicken sandwich was good but cold. The fried pickles were terribly overcooked. Rather disappointing considering how long we waited. Husbands chicken was “good, but overdone” as well.

I tried to get the five nights at Freddy’s meal ice machine was broken. Tea machine was broken. My chicken tenders are so small that they’re more breading than chicken and my cheese curds came in one giant ball, The Dr Pepper is flat and their frozen lemonade machine was broken and I didn’t even get the correct packaging also out of cupcakes. Food was hot but my order was incorrect. I wanted to try the spicy fish sandwich and didn’t even get it. I had been sick all week and could finally eat. I didn’t bother to go back. This location is severely under staffed. There were only 2 people working and they were doing the best they could. She was nice but I was waiting a good 20min. I could tell she was stressed and I didn’t want to make things more difficult for her. Location doesn’t seem like it’s managed well at all. There was a group of homeless people inside that look like they were hounding them and then there were 3 homeless guys outside trying to fight.

This was my first time visiting this Popeyes. The service was ok, but my love ordered unsweetened ice tea. We were through eating by the time it was available. There was no ice in the soda machine.
The chicken was fine.
The exterior was had litter at the entry.
There were very few people eating inside. And I can understand why.

I so badly want to give a 5 star review. The food was delicious and the staff were on point today. The chicken sandwich was is truly Popeyes to loose, but all too often they give away the win, but not soich today… Just a little.
You know a sandwich is going to be good when you watch them bring fresh chicken from the fryer to build your sandwich and the staff warn that’s it’s going to be HOT! PERFECT SANDWICH TODAY.
Red Beans and Rice were good, rice a little dry but still good.
So overall a great food and staff experience.
So where did that 5th star go?? It’s laying in the bathroom floor with a weeks worth of dirty, no paper towels, 2 soap dispensers with no soap. It’s also in the grime on the door on the way in that hasn’t seen Windex in months or possibly with the multitude of dead flies laying around the restaurant. Overall the restaurant is just simply dirty and in need of a few repairs like the holes in the walls
With this Popeyes (and really all Popeyes) it’s a gamble of your going to get good food . They CAN make great stuff, the question is will today he the day you’re lucky enough to taste it at its best,

Drove from Statesville to Hickory yesterday to get a family meal (30 minute drive). Immediately there is a sign at the drive through saying that they are out of Mac and cheese and fries. Waited about 25 minutes for the order. Once we made it home to eat we discovered the chicken looked burnt. Called to explain the situation and requested a refund, but the manager Tera (who I assume is the manager) told me that the chicken was not burnt, but it was cooked in bad grease because they had not received their truck yet. Bad grease!?! When I requested the refund she stated I would not get a refund, but could get a replacement of the order the next day due to the truck arriving . Mind you, I have to drive 30 minutes back to get the replacement, so it would have been more convenient for me to get a refund. I come back today to get the replacement and Tera was there. I explain I’m back for the replacement. The worker at the register was very helpful while Tera seemed annoyed. When I asked to switch the sides due to them being out of the sides I wanted yesterday, I was told I would have to pay for it separately because only the chicken would be replaced from the previous meal. I feel the entire meal should have been replaced and I should not have had to pay for the sides that weren’t even available the day before. Will not be returning to this Popeyes location.

Went to get the FNAF meal but they didn’t have cheese bites, substituted them for Mac n cheese but was way too greasy and disgusting to eat, tenders were ok and the cupcake tasted artificial.

My grandmother, myself, and my two kids came here to eat today. This was my first time to Popeyes and per my grandmothers recommendation I went (it’s been years since she’s been so she wanted to go again).
When we first walked in, the lady at the front (I’m assuming she was the manager but I’m not sure) was telling a younger guy, who seemed like he didn’t want to be there, to either run the drive thru or the front counter, neither of witch he seemed to want to do.
When we finally got to order, after about 10 minutes, things went downhill from there. They were out of all size drinks cups, except small, their soda machine wasn’t working properly, they didn’t have napkins stocked, and their eating area had trash, crumbs, and some piles of dirty clothes (???).
We then waited ~20 minutes for our food before being told that the chicken tenders we ordered were still frozen and we would need to order a substitution such as boneless wings. Then we were told that the cook was actually making the tenders FOR HIMSELF while we were waiting on ours… while they apparently had one fryer working.
In the end we did get our food and the lady who helped us was extremely nice, but I won’t be back due to my experience… $30 down the drain

I ordered on the mobile app and I get there and nothing was prepped the lady working the store said they just got a truck and they didn’t have chicken or shrimp. I’ve worked in fast food for about 3 years now and it’s not that hard to keep stuff thawed out and ready to be used, at my workplace wendys will go apeshit if they find out the crew doesn’t have chilli potatoes or any of that ready so where’s the standards here. “Under new management” yet nothings changed. Last $39 I spend here
