5 Star – Wonderful Comfort Food & Great Value
Randall’s is a fantastic local gem and my a go-to spot for truly wonderful, down-home comfort food. If you’re looking for a restaurant where the quality of the food is the star, this is it.
The portions are satisfyingly large and the prices are reasonable, making this a truly great value. I especially love that they offer reliable, consistent daily specials that keep the menu exciting. And for a perfect finish, their desserts are the real deal!
Located about four miles south of Interstate 70 on Route 51, Randall’s embraces a classic, no-frills diner atmosphere. Come for the exceptional home-cooked food, not the ambience. You absolutely will not be disappointed!

Good home cooking, best pies ever, and they give you about 20 pies to choose from after your meal. Best priced meals. Family owned business. Daily homemade soups.

I’ve been eating at Randalls for 50 years, food and service is always good. However I noticed they started charging a surcharge on the bill and I expect it is because I used a charge card. The charge card fees are not for the customer but they are for the establishment for the convenience of getting people to come in and spend their money when they don’t have cash. Randall may have made an extra 70 cents on me
however they have lost me as a customer six people in my family as a customer and everyone I can convince not to eat there. Way to go Randalls. Was it worth having a customer pay for the 3% surcharge?

Randall’s Restaurant is a staple of culinary excellence in Perryopolis on Rt 51. The food is homemade with generous portions. I don’t know if a restaurant where two adults, two kids, can eat and have dessert for $60. Their soups are fantastic, with a cup being a bowl in most other restaurants. My mother ordered the beef tips and they literally came out in a casserole pan! If you are in the area looking for an excellent meal at an excellent price, Randall’s Restaurant is your place. You had better get there early though, the specials do run out, same with their homemade pies!

We had the Daily Special Rigatoni and a Good ol Patty Melt. The rigatoni noodles themselves were a bit over done, but the sauce was excellent, the patty melt featured good caramelized onions but was a bit over sauced (which is probably more of a personal issue). The side salad was very heavy on the bitter greens which my wife didn’t care for. Overall a very pleasant meal in a chill atmosphere.

We ordered 2 pies for Thanksgiving. The Dutch apple was excellent. The pumpkin pie turned moldy after a day. We ordered the pecan pie for Christmas. The pie was inedible. The pecans were so hard you could bite through. Very disappointing.

I didn’t not care for the meatloaf but my waitress quickly got me a ham and cheese sandwich which was good. Chicken noodle soup and coleslaw was very good.

I had their sausage and gravy and 2 pancakes. It was good food! The butter and syrup came in those little packages and the bathrooms were clean.

Recently I ordered a qt. of vegetable soup yo go. It was deeelicious. Next 2 times, the soup was not good. Beef noodle ( 1 sliver of meat in a qt. & potato soup that was loaded with chewy dumplings, just a bunch of starch and no flavor. Last & final time we ordered 2 very bland dinner specials.
It used to be good food, but quality definitely is not what it used to be.
