Food was very good, margaritas were strong, server was attentive, and restaurant was clean. However, I do want to clarify a few things:
– If you’re white and can’t handle spice very well, this likely isn’t the place for you. This is NOT the Americanized Tex mex food from your local Mexican joint you’re likely used to. It’s a more authentic, spiced up kind of food, though still good.
– if you’re expecting the “liquidy” kind of queso for tortilla chips, you won’t get that here. It’s more of a melted mozzarella/ oaxaqueña cheese that you eat with soft flour tortillas.
– first order of chips and salsa is free, subsequent orders are $2 extra.
Overall, pretty good spot, we left satisfied and happy! Portions are extremely generous

Always a fan. 10+ Years. Fantastic salsa. Tortilla chips are a little heavy for me, I prefer white corn and thin. These are yellow and thick, but not complaining. Service always spot on great. Prices right. Don’t forget to try the cookie shop next door.

It is very delicious food but I am not going to lie expensive I expected a lot less than what I got charged but honestly the food is very good atmosphere is great old style Mexican decoration, the food came extremely fast and very well done I honestly even enjoyed the salad which I know is weird when someone says I enjoy salad because it’s just vegetables lol the waitress that was serving us was very attentive very good looking at that not that that matters but it definitely don’t hurt it lol but all in all a very good place they have legit everything Mexican one of my favorite restaurants when I feel like splurging
