Great food at reasonable prices. Menu had a variety of items that anyone will find a dish to love. The brisket and ribs were flavorful and tender. Colorful peacocks roam the grounds where there is plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors. Overall, nice place for families to spend lunch or dinner.

Came here for an evening celebration dinner. This place is well suited to hosting larger groups. Several other larger parties besides ours were dining. Food was solid with a very respectable Chicken Fried Steak for myself. Excellent gravy and some unique fries that were well seasoned.

We had a birthday celebration with about 20 people. Food was great, along with an awesome waitress. Lots of beautiful peacocks and room to roam outside if you wish.

Recommended this restaurant for a birthday party. We had reservations and did not mind a short wait. We went outside to be out of the way when we were taken to our table outside. Might have been OK if there had been heaters, when asked why we were being sat outside were told that someone in our party OK’d it. Asked then about heaters and was told no propane. Asked if we could be seated inside and said we would have to wait another 1 and 1/2 hours. Even with reservations. So disappointed that I recommended we go there. Took one and a half hours to get our food. by the time we were through eating the restaurant was mostly empty. I am more than embarrassed that Escondido Grill was my recommendation, I won’t be back or recommend them. Food was ok not worth freezing outside. They need to have propane if offering outside dining through April. We ate there on March 7th

The restaurant sits in a pretty canyon North of Lubbock. Love the decor and atmosphere. Had deviled eggs with brisket, a big delicious salad and chicken fried steak with garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was great. Our server was Clinton and he did a great job .

Food was perfection. I really wanted brisket, and I will go back. The service, atmosphere, and taste was everything I wanted and more. Highly recommend. The ultimate grill cheese, is my favorite. Beautiful restaurant, just off the highway. Easy parking lot to turn around in if you have a big truck with trailer. Pass the fast food and enjoy your food here.

A dozen or so peacocks and lake are special. The young waitress who served us was pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Went here for our 7th anniversary dinner. The servers were all very friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was very clean and relaxing. When we left we forgot my (pregnant) wife’s leftovers and immediately turned around when we realized. When I came back in, they had already disposed of them, but the staff made her a new plate to go free of charge! 10/10 experience and we will absolutely be back as often as we can!
The pricing is very fair, averaging $15-$20 a plate, we just splurged for the anniversary.
