Kinda of a drab place. Service sucked. Fried mushrooms were soggy, took 20 minutes for chicken noodle soup and a club sandwich. But wait they didn’t have any soup . Would not recommend a place to eat or spend your money

We visited mid-afternoon. My wife ordered the Stacked Chicken. I ordered the Calabash Fish Platter. Our waitstaff was kind and considerate. Our food was delicious, but my wife’s portion for the stacked chicken was very small. I believe one of her chicken breasts were left off. The Calabash Fish was awesome as was the substituted grits for a side. While the store itself looks like it has seen a lot of wear and tear, the food produced continues to be good. Thanks for a good experience.

This place is absolutely awful. Do yourself a favor and save your time and money. My plate was not even complete. The menu said i would get a pound of ribs and four chicken tenders. Instead I got 4 little ribs that would not have weighed 6 oz. and five chicken tenders. My brother ordered their normal calabash chicken plate. The menu said that it included 8 chicken tenders and a bowl of potato soup. Instead he got 6 chicken tenders, which included one that was nothing but breading, and no potato soup. The friend that came with us ordered a double brisket burger. He got a double burger with no brisket. We had to wait approximately 35 minutes to even order and the food was over an hour getting to the table. Our drinks were never refilled until we asked for them to be. All this would have been bad enough if the price was not exorbitant for what we received. All around a very unpleasant experience. I am going to post pics of my plate and the menu for reference.

8/21: We ordered food online said it would be done at 8 then when we got there at 7:50 to make sure we were on time they understandably they said it would be a few minutes. So, we decided to wait outside then 10 minutes later we walked in to a woman saying “YALL DIDN’T LOCK THE DOOR ON THEM?!?” Being extremely rude. We then told her we ordered food online and still had to wait longer for food and they forgot some of our food and the food we received was gross. I would not recommend this place at all. We ordered an hour ahead of time. If I could rate zero stars I would.
Update: Tried again 4/22 server was great but this was my “calabash shrimp & chicken plate” shrimp was literally crumbs(they look bigger in the picture) & the tenders (not fully pictured) were extremely small too.

Fatz Cafe is one of my husband and I’s favorite spots to stop when we are going south for warmer weather. This time I had the Cajun shrimp and stone ground cream cheese grits and my husband had the Calabash fish. Both dishes were phenomenal! And the service was friendly and prompt. Fatz Cafe is Definately stared in our Google maps!

Worst service and food ever. Waited and waited for drinks. Our whole order came backwards. First we got our food then we had to send the food back because 2 plates of chicken were very cold…so cold the cheese didn’t melt. After we got back the second round of dinner plates our salad arrived and then the rolls which the rolls were supposed to come first. Brussels sprouts were so burned it tasted disgusting. Save your money and go to Arby’s next door.

Do not order the “Calabash broccoli cheddar soup!” They should have gone with Progresso…bowl full of lukewarm flavorless gunk with a chicken strip tossed on top. Thanks folks. Sad thing is we’ve had to get items taken off the bill the last 2 times we have been here. It’s the only option for clinton sc for a chance at a halfway decent meal. Wings aren’t bad. Adios fatz, was the last chance.
