We had one of the best experiences at the So Elgin Il Red Robin. We were there Wed. Dec.3rd around 4:00- our server? -Oh my gosh she was great! Very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly , food was great. We don’t dine out very often but definelty going back.

The burgers got considerably worse in recent years, they got rid of the one burger I wanted, they do not do bottomless onion straws anymore, and the small version of the pig out style was changed to the point I would find it disgusting. All of that plus the fact thay prices have nearly doubled. Red Robin has gone the way of TGI Fridays and I will have to just keep it as a memory and never return.

Loved the service and the food. I got an impossible burger put in their black and blue. It was amazing. My daughter loved their swirl and twirl pasta. The impossible burger can be substituted for any burger. It’s great!

The last month our group of 10 have had two visits with amazing food and service at Red Robin in South Elgin. Each time, reception staff were friendly and seated us quickly. With a full house, managers stopped over to check in and even brought more food to the table. Sami, our waitress both times, was very attentive and checked in often – even with a packed restaurant. The temperature was adjusted for us, too.
Right upon entering with a large birthday cake, they offered to refrigerated this without even planning to ask the restaurant. After eating the great food for all 10 of us was clear, extra plates and birthday celebration were provided practically effortly.
No joke about bottomless sides, friendly and on target staff here! Excellent experiences from entry to exit ~ both times! Awesome work South Elgin Red Robin!!!

The South Elgin Red Robin location has and will always be one of my favorite burger establishments to go to. From the service to the food and everything in between it’s always been a great experience. I love all the different types of burger options that they have, I never feel like I’m stuck getting the same thing over and over again. Plus their appetizers can’t be beat, bottomless fries is always a staple and if I’m not in the mood for those I have the onion rings which are consistently amazing epically with some campfire sauce to go with it. If I could eat at this Red Robin everyday for dinner I would do it hands down. The staff is very friendly and personable too so if the burgers didn’t sell it enough the waiters and waitresses will definitely keep you coming back, they’re always kind and hospitality.

The food is good but Katie is the reason I keep coming back! She’s amazing and already knows my order as soon as I sit down! I never have to ask for refills and shes always attentive. We’ve made the South Elgin Red Robin our Friday lunch tradition—it’s the perfect way to unwind from the workweek, and we genuinely look forward to it every time.The food never disappoints, but what really makes the experience special is our server, Katie. She might seem quiet at first, but don’t be fooled—she’s a lot of fun to talk to and always brightens our day.
Doug and Sam, the managers, are fantastic too—always making the rounds, checking in, and sharing friendly conversation. Nadine, the hostess, always greets us with a smile that sets the tone for the whole visit. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel welcome every time.
If you’re not in the mood for a burger (which are amazing), give the Ensenada Chicken a shot—full of flavor and never dry. The only downside? The signage isn’t the best. If you don’t know it’s here, it’s easy to miss. But trust me, it’s worth finding.

We eat here pretty regularly. I don’t think we’ve ever had a server we didn’t like. Managers usually stop at the table like 90% of the time to check how things are and the servers are usually pretty attentive and some of them remember our drink orders which is nice.
Food is usually correct 95% of the time. We’ve had to start ordering our burgers well done the last month or two though because sometimes saying “no pink” my burger would come out pretty pink.
It seems like we have a $10 reward almost every other time we eat there (family of 3) so that is nice.
We will continue to come back regularly.
