Had breakfast at Southern Pecan on 16FEB26. Good food, great service (thanks Amber F) just the right amount of checking on the customers to make sure we are enjoying our meal. I had the Farmhouse Benedict, my wife had the Meat Omelet, both were delicious. We both had the home fries and definitely enjoyed how they were seasoned, if you have a mild palate, these home fries are not for you. The menu prices are reasonable, on par with similar restaurants. Will definitely return to have an evening meal.

We had a great experience at Southern Pecan Gulf Coast in Charlotte, a Louisiana-inspired restaurant with a warm and welcoming Southern vibe. For our entrées, I had the roasted chicken, which was tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. My husband ordered the braised short rib, and it was outstanding—rich, slow-cooked, and full of flavor.
The service was excellent from start to finish, and the ambiance was relaxed, stylish, and inviting, perfect for dinner and conversation. We really enjoyed the overall experience and would definitely return to explore more of the menu.

My mom and I visited The Southern Pecan, and it was absolutely fabulous! We were warmly greeted by the hostess and seated right away at a cozy booth. Water was brought promptly while we looked over the menu. As we waited for our server, we took in the beautiful décor, open kitchen, and lively atmosphere. The place felt warm and inviting, with blues music playing softly in the background and happy guests all around.
Our server, Cassie, was bubbly, friendly, and full of great recommendations! She made us feel right at home and helped us choose some guest favorites. We started with the Shrimp Cocktail, which came with an incredible BBQ reduction sauce — delicious! For our entrées, we both ordered the Fried Catfish — mine with mashed potatoes and green beans, and my mom’s with greens and mashed potatoes. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
We truly enjoyed everything about our experience. I’d highly recommend The Southern Pecan to anyone craving authentic Southern comfort food. Bring your friends, family, or out-of-town guests — you won’t be disappointed!

First time visiting southern pecan for brunch. I was very happy I decided to go. Great selection of menu options, from traditional breakfast items to more Louisiana style entrées. I tried the shrimp and grits and saying it was amazing doesn’t do it justice. The hush puppies were also really good and brunch was not complete without a cocktail, so I had their coconut mango Mojito, which was delicious. I will absolutely be back.

Nothing on the menu will ever disappoint. It’s right on the money. They’re doing what they need to do in the kitchen. It’s so good. This visit I got the chicken with potatoes and a side of veggies and along with a pineapple Mojito. I love the staff here and the environment is great. I generally come here on Sunday after church so seating has never been an issue. It’s a great spot to watch a game whether with a crowd or solo – there’s such a great crowd here that you are bound to make friends. I’ve actually been here for quite a few celebrations as well, which they have amazing space for it so I highly recommend for celebrations or if you’re looking a delicious comfort meal or drinks.

Restaurant was busy at 5 pm on Saturday but it was Queens feast week. If you go, the cornbread and salads are great. The tomato bisque/ soup of the day is awesome. We had the jambalaya and it didn’t disappoint and our waiter was a part time comedian. Loved the experience.

Four of us had dinner at the Southern Pecan Gulf Coast Kitchen in Charlotte, NC. Being from out of town we didn’t realize we needed a reservation but they kindly and quickly seated us. Our server Tony was informative, helpful and attentive. The restaurant has good ambiance. Our food was delivered timely and with hearty portions as well as being very delicious. We enjoyed our meal and would return to Southern Pecan if the opportunity arose.

Came here tonight with my husband. We were blown away by the food quality and service. We had the crab cakes, kale arugula salad, chicken and dumplings, pecan crusted catfish and bourbon chocolate pecan pie. It was all so delicious. The cornbread they served warm was amazing as well. It was a really enjoyable experience. It’s a very calm and easy going atmosphere, nice music playing, our server Tony was amazing and he never rushed us. The decor was beautiful and matched the atmosphere. We will definitely be regulars.

We have now been here twice, and both visits were extremely positive. Logan is an excellent and attentive bartender. Also, every dish we’ve tried so far has been excellent. The place has a very comfortable upscale vibe without being stuffy at all. While a bit on the pricey side, the quality and portion sizes are worth it.
Also, if you have gluten allergies, they are excellent there, too, with a dedicated friend and protocols in place to avoid cross contamination.
Overall, this is a highly recommend. We will definitely be visiting here more often.
