First time here after years of going to the southwest location (now closed). Service was good, beautiful restaurant, tastefully decorated. Food was great! Enchilada was delicious, beef taco was stuffed with tasty shredded beef, and the chicken mini chimis were very good too. I tried the sampler and my wife had the menudo, which she really enjoyed. Both of us were pleasantly surprised by the chile (green) con queso, which was exploding with flavor. The salsa was also very fresh and went great with not only the chips, but the chimis, taco and beans too. Will definitely return.

One of the worst Mexican restaurant experiences I’ve had. The staff was flustered and confused when we arrived, and we had several different waiters/servers that appeared at random times and never came back. We had to wait 15 minutes to even order drinks.
As for the food, it was not just bland and stale, but tasted off and neither of us were able to finish it even though we had just hiked 11 miles in the desert with not but a few bites of trail mix and apple. Both the flautas and the tostada bowl were somehow chewy and flaky at the same time, but with no crunch. The after-affects of the food were also rather unpleasant.

There are several wonderful Mexican restaurants in Tucson unfortunately this is not one of them. There was a time when the casa Molina restaurants were known to be very good but that time has passed. I’ve had better experiences at Taco Bell.
My mother had to wait 25 minutes for tea after we asked three different times for it. I asked for water with no ice and never received it. We waited about 20 minutes to put our order in.
The bussers were doing a good job. Had to ask for new silverware as there were pieces of food a few.
The food tasted either stale or completely bland. We didn’t hardly eat anything and with tip the bill was 100 dollars. The waiter appeared to be doing his best he was running back and forth overwhelmed. Not sure exactly what’s going on there but it was a complete failure for us I’m from Tucson been here my whole life and will never go to casa Molina restaurant again.

This was my first time here and everything was great! Friendly service, great enchiladas, and amazing sopapillas! The atmosphere is nice too. I’ll definitely be back and next time will bring my guests from out of town!

My family has been going here for many years. Food is consistent, not the best, but I just come for the tostada grande and sopapillas.
This last visit, the service was really quite bad, and they essentially overcharged us. Shame on me for not checking better
It is a fun place to go with a big group.

The service was quick and I never had an empty water cup. That being said the servers constantly trying to push drinks on you, every time they walk away “only water???” The food is on the pricey side and honestly it was just okay. The tamales were dry and looked old while the soup was fantastic (we had meatball soup and white menudo soup). I had the sampler plate and while the food looked great the flavors were a bit on the bland side and the amount of cheese was over the top. The salsa was tasty but had no heat. The guacamole dip appetizer was very good. My buddy had the flautas plate and he said they were good “the chicken was tasty”. The flan was good but not great, it had a tapioca pudding flavor more than anything. He had the fried ice cream and it was like the fried coating wasn’t cooked enough so it was chewy like dough. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing and the staff was super friendly. This is definitely a solid 3 out of 5. If the prices were a bit more reasonable it could slide into a low four but for the price the quality just isn’t there.

The service provided was exceptional, and the ambiance of the restaurant is cozy. However, the prices are slightly higher than what I would consider reasonable for the quality of the food. The food is okay, doesn’t taste great, but its just not worth it.
