Visiting from Dallas, we couldn’t be more impressed with the QUALITY and SELECTION at this location!!

Hands down.. everything was incredible. Appetizers, entrees, dessert, even the cocktails were 10/10 ! This is a MUST VISIT in San Antonio.

A huge thank you to the support staff at this location as well…

MARIA behind the bar made the most amazing Blackberry Martini. It was soo velvety smooth.. just insane! (It’s not the cocktail in the images though, just fyi)

DANIEL L was our server. He made us feel right at home even though we were his last table for the evening.

Wonderful dining experience. We will absolutely be back!!

What a great place to come and dine. The prices are reasonable. On an average a great plate of ettouffee under 30 bucks. Fed a family of 7 for under $150. Please note if you valet park it’s free for 2 hours to roam the river walk. If you don’t the average parking is $26. Overall the service, food, and location is worth you come check it out.

Wow wow wow, I have no words for how good this place was. the food was AMAZING. We went with a group of about 15 for a birthday and they had a nice large area in the back. Service was great, food was great, hidden gem for sure!!! The pictures I took do not do it justice I wish I had my camera!!!

We had a great lunch date at Roam and Range and sat on the balcony to enjoy a view of the Riverwalk. We shared the calamari and peppers with marinara dipping sauce, crab cake, and beet salad. The calamari and crab cake came out hot and was very flavorful. The beet salad was refreshing and light with green apple pieces, feta, and a vinaigrette dressing. Our favorite was the baked Alaska! It was cool and refreshing with the lemon vanilla layers of ice creamy topped with meringue. The crunchy pecan crust was delectable. All entrees, especially appetizers are shareable. We will definitely come back for lunch or dinner.

Very clean hotel located in a decent area. Parking kind of sucks. The staff was friendly. The drinks at the bar were spot on. The burger was cooked to temperature the the beef patty was really lean and wasnt seasoned well.

My wife and I were wanting seafood in San Antonio and after reviewing the menu we decided on Roam and Range. We ordered Fried Calamari as an appetizer, it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. For entrees we ordered the Snapper Diablo and the Mississippi Catfish. Both dishes were well seasoned and the portion size was perfect! I would say the food surpassed our expectations, the service was great as well. Our waitress never let our drinks get low and she consistently checked on us. If you are looking for good Seafood in San Antonio, look no further than Roam and Range!

We tried out the new Roam & Range restaurant in late August 2025. Newly renovated, turned out excellent! There is a GREAT seafood restaurant in San Antonio!!!

The crab cake was good, but the remoulade sauce was absolutely delicious! A single crab cake, so if you’re hungry order a 2nd one.

We split the Salmon Alexander which was spot-on. Includes shrimp and scallops, great way to sample the chef’s offerings. Reasonable prices, about $25 for an entree including a huge side of dirty rice.

We tried the cucumber martini, brown sugar old fashioned (delicious) and a couple glasses of sparkling wine. Our bill was about $125. Service was ok, a little busy at times which means the food is in demand.

The only downside (and be aware), parking next to the restaurant can be challenging. We popped in to the closest flat lot and it was (no joke) $37 to park just for dinner. They really need to make the parking far more approachable for this restaurant to really take off.

Nice find with a view of the San Antonio River from the dining area. Delicious choice for seafood! Cheers!

This was the place a friend chose for her birthday lunch and it did not disappoint. It seems to have the same menu as Bourbon Street and is in one of their former locations. I had the blackened catfish with shrimp and dirty rice and everything was really good.
Our waiter was very attentive and the restaurant was not crowded at all on the weekday that we went. The portions are very generous so we both took home lots of food. The facility has been completely redone from its Bourbon Street Days and looks fabulous with a very laid-back atmosphere.

My wife and I went here for date night. We started off with some oysters and they were pretty good. For dinner we had the etouffet and she got the red snapper I believe. Both good but nothing mind blowing. Our waitress and ambiance really is what made it a solid place. Great service and Good drinks too
