It was absolutely amazing. Quick service, great food, absolutely bustling with people. In and out within 45 min if that, including eating our food couldn’t be happier. Very fair prices in comparison to places with not as good food.

Sunday lunch never got better. It was to my surprise when we reached at 11:59am there were 10 people ahead of us waiting to be seated as soon as the restaurant opened. Later on I realized why so much of fuss about this place. You need to come here to relish best Mexican food in town. Amazingly delicious. The shrimp tacos was so so so good. The servers may seem hurrying and rushing but they do not disappoint you. The flan is good. Though very small in size.
Cannot wait to go there again. Nice and cozy family place to begin you day. I googled for best Mexican restaurant near me and this place stood up the first and after eating here now I know the reason why!!!!!

We stopped here for lunch while traveling, so we didn’t know what to expect. It was a lucky choice. Food was good, portions plentiful, service quick and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. We did not order alcohol.

We went for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu. It was fairly busy. Everything looked clean. The music and decorations were as expected for a Mexican restaurant. The waitress quickly took our drink and food orders. The salsa was delicious. The cheese dip was delicious. I didn’t think the chips were that good but weren’t terrible. The food arrived pretty quickly. It was hot, delicious, and authentic too. The portions were big and the price was cheap. Highly recommend going here. I’ll be back.

What a wonderful meal and experience! The staff were so friendly, quick, and attentive, which made everything even better. I really enjoyed the beef chimichanga—it was absolutely perfect. And of course, the chips and salsa were incredible as well. I definitely recommend Puerto Vallarta if you’re craving delicious Mexican food while you’re in Newark!

Food is always served hot ! Awesome, friendly staff! Great, updated atmosphere! Can watch sports on several different TV screens, especially at the bar! Not too pricey and have daily specials! Great place for families and friendly get togethers…did I mention the FOOD?!

I would recommend this place if you are looking for great Mexican food but do not care too much about the service you will receive. This is the second time visiting this establishment with the same outcome. The food comes out in nice portions and hot. We enjoyed our meals a lot. That being said , we definitely did not like the service either time. The waiter delivers our drinks and food but thats it. He never once came back to check to see how the food came out or if we needed anything. No refills , nothing. We had to go find the manger for boxes and the bill. He also was not friendly at all. So all in all great food but horrible service.
