Wako has become our go-to restaurant this past year! The value for the selection on the all you can eat is amazing, the food is always great, there’s always something good on the tv and good music over the speakers. Tonight (& the last few times) we were served by the amazing Jesse, but we’ve always enjoyed the service here. The Fall in Love roll is what got me hooked, but we love coming back for old favorites & trying new things! Can’t wait for next time.

Decent food for the area (we’ve been to Japan every year for the last five years so it’s hard to satisfy ourJapanese food cravings… still searching). Good value. Super fun, friendly and efficient service by Tracy.

Hands down one of the best all-you-can-eat sushi spots I’ve been to. The fish was fresh, the rolls were made to order, and nothing tasted rushed or low quality like you sometimes get with AYCE places. Everything came out fast, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor.
The menu had a huge variety—classic rolls, specialty rolls, sashimi, appetizers, and hot dishes—and every single item we tried was on point. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, constantly checking in without being overbearing.
For the price, you seriously can’t beat the quality and value. Clean restaurant, great atmosphere, and consistent food from start to finish. This place sets the standard for all-you-can-eat sushi.
Will 100% be back. Highly recommend.

Busy Saturday lunch, we waited around 30 minutes to be seated and then ordered from the buffet menu. Great selection of well made sushi but extremely poor server, skinny male with curly hair, he took our food order and vanished, never to return again although we could see him serving at other tables. My order came right away but 40 minutes later we still had not received my son’s food order. I asked several other servers who did not follow up anyway. I finally found a manager who let me pay for the one meal and drinks but offered no food, no apology, and weirdly no explanation for never serving my son. I saw a young couple at a nearby table also asking about their food order. Meanwhile at another nearby table sat six water buffaloes with about 30 plates of food, you just know they’ll have to raise meal prices thanks to Meal Team Six gobbling up every plate available. Probably ate my son’s food order too. They ate with 2 hands and no chopsticks….amazing. We left hungry and ate some burgers elsewhere.

My first visit here was phenomenal! Our server, Michelle, provided exceptional service, and the food was outstanding. This is hands-down the best sushi and Japanese restaurant in the Panhandle—possibly the best I’ve ever experienced.
For those considering the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) menu, don’t worry about quality. Whether you choose the regular menu or AYCE, the food maintains the same top-notch standard.

Food was great our server was friendly. The tables are a little close together, but that food & service makes up for it. The chefs are ninja fast

I’ve been coming here the last few years it was great but now that’s not the case after the owner sold it and it’s pretty obvious the new owner is cheap I always get the bamboo rolls and they cut back on the cream cheese and put more sweet potato to cut cost so it’s more profitable for the new owner even my friends experienced the same thing so that’s 4 customers they just have lost so I would go somewhere else and will attach a photo to this review

Best sushi ever! Fabulous value for what you get. Tracy has been our server a couple of times now and each visit she’s made sure everything came out rapid fire and perfect.

I was really disappointed with my experience at this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. The concept sounds great, but the execution was frustrating. We waited an extremely long time for our food — so long that it honestly defeated the purpose of “all you can eat.” When you’re paying for that type of experience, you expect consistent and timely service.
Unfortunately, our server also forgot to put in several of our items. We only realized after waiting quite a while, which meant we had to wait even longer once it was corrected. There was little communication about delays, and we felt overlooked most of the time.
It honestly felt misleading — advertising “all you can eat” doesn’t mean much if customers are stuck waiting forever between rounds. The slow service made it impossible to actually enjoy the experience.
I hope management works on improving organization and service speed because the current experience does not match the promise. food was good though.
