We had decided awhile back we would not come back to this restaurant because of service and atmosphere (employees screaming at each other and waiting 1-1/2 hours snd still not getting our food). We gave it “one more chance” when we heard there was a new mgr. What an amazing difference! Amanda had completely turned this location around. Wonderful staff and service. This is now one of my favorite places. She is to be commended for all she’s done. And I’m sure she should be paid accordingly. Thank you, Amanda!

Went for dinner got the meal for two for $25 it said on menu and ordered a side of onion rings and two sweet teas. I don’t see how my bill come to $50.52. The food wasn’t very good either. Could be a nice restaurant it they took pride in their work if your not happy with your job go somewhere else. We need a decent place to eat in Galax Virginia. And this was the only receipt I received except the one you sign and leave with them. Hopefully it will get better.

138 pm every table in the bar area dirty except for the one they sat us at. No one bussing tables. Bartender taking care of bar and waiting tables. The rest leaned up against a desk and chatting. We have been here 20 mins. Now and no one is attempting to clean the tables. Not sure I want to eat here! Pray for us.

We had a great lunch at Applebee’s on Sunday. The food and service were excellent, and the prices were modest. We had a 6-Ounce Sirloin ($14.99), French Onion Soup ($5.49), Garden Salad ($4.99), Iced Tea ($3.39) and Coffee ($2.49). Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. A great place to stop in Galax.

Although the waitress was good, the atmosphere was good. We had to wait over 35 or 40 minutes for our food, then it wasn’t really that hot and no one ever came back to fill our glasses of drink. Seems like only one person was only doing all the work while the other girls just walked around.

POOR MANAGEMENT when no one helps the one bartender taking care of all bar tables and a full bar while a football game is on Sunday. We were asked to leave because we were too loud. It was actually a hightop table that was too loud, and you assumed it was the people at the bar.. Your loss! We won’t be back. Management should actually watch Applebee’s commercials showing people watching sports and having fun at the bar…sad! We should have stayed home!!!

the service was excellent by the waitresses but the food was so bad, we were really hungry but we did not finish with the food, pictures will talk. The soups were microwave and dishes dirty, we asked for a medium well steak and it was medium rare, we think the tomato soup was not good anymore because my kid ended throwing it away . Even the Salad was different as it used to be long time ago. Hopefully they improve in the kitchen we ended so sad and disappointed.

My table waiter stole an extra 10.54 out of my account while he was finishing his reception. We waited a long time for our food. Once our food arrived the food was tasteless and not cooked properly.
