Today I was in Phoenix and saw Pei Wei as I was driving by. It was around 10:30 when they opened, and they were already cooking up a storm and it smelled AMAZING! I was immediately greeted and asked if he could help me. Poor guy didn’t have any clue what he was getting himself into . I asked lots of questions about their new menu, and if I could substitute and add things. He answered everything with a smile and kindness. He asked me if I was a Rewards member and when he told me I could get 2 entrees for $18, I was in & it saved me $6. GREAT JOB ADRIAN! Thank you for starting my day off on the right foot, and Thank You to everyone that was working today on opening shift. Everything was great!!!

Girl in the front was super nice, but food itself was kinda disappointing, noodles with orange chicken (yes different meat was it) for almost $16 after tax, is overpriced for the quality I received. My first time at a Pei Wei ever too.

Visited for lunch on Tuesday and the food was incredible! Hot and tasty. I also couldn’t help but notice the exemplary service of Guadalupe. This lady made the visit even more pleasant. Super focused on customer service and making sure that we had everything we needed and more!

Highly Recommended!

02/20/2026 a first-time customer, I was looking forward to trying your crab ragoons however, the service I received was unacceptable. I placed an order for one 6-piece and one 2-piece Crab Rangoon. Upon arriving home, I discovered I had been given two 2-piece orders instead. I drove back to the restaurant to have the error corrected. When I explained the mistake to the cashier (who did not provide a name), there was a clear communication barrier. Rather than acknowledging the error, the staff member became defensive. In a surprising display of poor service, the staff member proceeded to throw my food into the trash in front of me. When the manager on duty, Benjamin, was consulted, he failed to de-escalate the situation or offer a gesture of goodwill for my time and gas spent returning to the store. Instead, he insisted on charging the difference for the original mistake. Because of the lack of empathy and the dismissive attitude of the staff, I opted for a full refund and left without my meal. As a manager, I would expect Benjamin to prioritize guest satisfaction—especially when the error originated with the kitchen. Instead, the situation resulted in wasted food and a lost customer.
I hope you will look into the training standard at this location to ensure other guests are treated with more respect. Sincerely Anthony

BAD customer service! I entered the restaurant with my mom, the cashier didn’t hear mom my lettuce wrap. Only my mom’s plate came out. I went back to the cashier because, we noticed she didn’t charge the lettuce wrap but that was the 1st thing that was ordered. Instead apologizing she began arguing with me. Saying that my mom never ordered the lettuce wrap. I do not recommend this place.

I ordered chicken and Broccoli…I got chicken and ??steak..almost no broccoli to speak of and that was not steak…it had almost no texture and very little steak flavor. Ordered chicken egg rolls…got pork.

Always looking for alternative to panda. Landed me here.
What a treat!!
2 adults 2 children cost us about $70+. 4 meals 4 drinks This is the first mind-boggling thing about the meal the price. In this day and age, everything is outrageously priced. So shouldn’t surprise us anymore. Wait, there is more!

Food was exceptional. We dined in and was the best choice. The food was hot and just full of flavor.
Orange chicken actually had real oranges. Fried rice was not burnt and cooked spot on!
We also ordered the new wings and had the mango habanero flavor. Yo, they had actual mango up in there floating around with the drum and legs. Had enough to start a marching bad with them drums and legs and flavor it had.
Real Asian flavor, not your mainstream taste.
I definitely recommend this spot.
The staff was very kind. Don’t look like a sucker as I did. There is no garbage cans staff come to pick up your plate.

5 pei Wei. Stay fresh

Used to eat in this restaurant in the past, and it is usually good. When we arrived for a dinner date, the parking lot was empty on a Saturday night which we thought was strange. We soon found out why when we walked inside and were hit with a wall of putrid stench coming from inside. It smelled like they were cooking diseased feces on the stove. As it was a dinner date, we decided to look at the menu. As expected with a corporate company, the menu looked well so we stood there peering at it for at least 5 minutes then went to order at the front. To my surprise, we saw the chef (it’s an open kitchen) STANDING ON THE COUNTER next to food bowls, and as we wanted to order, we called for the incompetent restaurant clerk who takes orders, who, to our dismay did not hear us and was scrolling on his phone with Airpods in. When we finally got his attention by calling out quite loud, he laughed and said “yeah?” Do not come here if you expect respect, and food that meets basic health requirements.

My family was in Phoenix for the week. We ordered delivery to the hotel we were at (7 minutes away). The delivery took almost 2 hours. The food was cold, they did not bring half of the order, and the food was terrible. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the noodles were plain with no seasoning or sauce, and the amount of food was not enough for even one meal. It was approximately $16/plate, plus a delivery fee. Very disappointing.

It’s been years since I’ve eaten at Pei Wei, and finding myself in a pinch with hungry children, I figured it was a safe bet. Oh boy was I wrong.

I’m typing this up from my porcelain throne at home. I’ve had a solid tummy ache for hours now, and me and the kids have been producing a steady stream of flatulence ever since our disastrous dining experience.

The food here is AWFUL. Dreadful. Embarrassing. It’s so bad. My kids complained at how sweet the lo mein noodles were. No amount of soy sauce could revive the abominable flavor of those noodles. Even my Mongolian beef seemed to be coated in sugar. Go figure, since it’s an American brand catering to American sweet tooths. Astonishingly bad, my friends. Please, save yourselves, and your guts, and do not come here. I’m not at all surprised now, in hindsight, by how empty this place was at 6pm on a weeknight. Oh how the mighty have fallen. In 2010 Pei Wei was a bustling bistro dishing up delicious dishes. Now, they’re a toxic boyfriend begging their girl to stay. In a word: PATHETIC.

Added a star for friendly staff.
