My grandma and I stopped in for brunch from out of town. It was a bit chaotic when we got there with a line of people and unsure whether we were supposed to sign in or wait for a waitress. We ended up sitting at the bar. Once seated the food was super fast and absolutely delicious. We got a cheeseburger and a Reuben omelette. Both were fantastic. Small town atmosphere and everyone was very nice. Will absolutely go back again.

A good friend recommended we go here & we’re glad she did. The food was excellent. Reminded me of the family owned diners I went to as a kid. My husband had the pork tenderloin sandwich. It was a huge portion & so good. I ordered chicken fried steak & was not disappointed. Our server was so friendly as was each staff member that we encountered. Fair pricing too. Will definitely be returning.

Great food at Okeechobee. Great prices for the amount of food. Senior menu. This is where the locals go. We always stop here for breakfast when we travel to Oveido. Normally busy – put the people and cooks are fast. Food is always hot. Great tasting coffee. Biscuits are great add butter and honey. Highly recommend
Ate there a second time for lunch. Under 30.00 for two. BLT and Open Face Roast Beef. Open face was really good. Great tasting home made Cole slaw. Home made corn bread was a bit dry. Fries were great. Quantity of food was excellent. Time that food was served was the speedy side. Bacon could have been cooked longer for the blt.

Pogey’s is a great spot! The service is fast and the food is always good. It’s a perfect place to grab lunch or breakfast, especially when you’re looking for something quick and satisfying. Everything comes out fresh, and the experience is always easy and enjoyable. Definitely a solid go-to place.

WOW… AMAZING family friendly restaurant with excellent quality of food and A1 SERVICE Amazing!!!!!! Will go back again soon. I got the shallava breakfast and pancakes. It was shella good.

Was here for the day and the food is excellent cheeseburger. Soup was amazing. I had the chopsteak with collard greens and mashed potatoes. The collard greens were amazing. With the sausage bits in them. All the waitresses were really really nice and helpful. Would highly recommend this place to anybody who’s using visting or passing by Laura, my server was a very nice lady but highly recommend you sit with her

I must say, I’m from Miami and was visiting Ocheechobee when I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The breakfast was simply superb. The corn beef hash was the best I’ve had in years, and the Belgian waffle was even better than the Waffle House. I highly recommend this place.

The biscuits and gravy tasted great. They tasted homemade. I ordered the Shelluva it was delicious and I could not stop eating that fried tortilla. It was good.
