From start to finish, Ms. Rosetta was a gem and then some. The appetizers (festival, fritters and the callaloo roll) was everything. I had the brown stew chicken was so good along with the steamed cabbage. My friend had the curry goat and she stated it was delicious, well seasoned and my other friend had the jerk pork and stated it was great, tender and well seasoned.

This restaurant is by far one of the best places I have gone to eat. The service was so good and the food was even better.. the atmosphere is comfy. I expected the place to be good but it surpassed my expectations by far. Im jamaican and im picky with my jamaican food. This place would get 20 stars if I could give it to them. Bring your wives and go get some great food. Every restaurant should have this atmosphere and service.

We tried this restaurant for the first time based on the positive Google reviews. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and well decorated with a modern Jamaican feel. Seems to be a mom in the kitchen and the daughter serving. Our server was attentive and did an excellent job explaining the menu and making recommendations.
The food took well over a half hour to be served, despite the restaurant not being busy. The jerk chicken was flavorful however not spicy. Unlike some other restaurants, there is no choice in cut of meat as it only comes with a leg and thigh (no chicken breast). The rice and peas and plantains were delicious. Next time we want to try the rum cake!

stopped by to support a local business. happy to report it did not disappoint. pictured is oxtail, pepper shrimp, and bammy. oxtail was nice and tender. pepper shrimp was well spicy. great for spice lovers, proceed with caution if you’re not. clipped the fresh soursop juice in the picture but that was absolutely wonderful and brought me back to eating fresh soursop in my own home country. looking forward to coming back to try more of the menu. wholeheartedly recommend.

Truly a hidden gem, this family owned & operated spot has a wide array of traditional Jamaican foods; showcasing incredibly complex & savory flavors, with a hint of low heat to bring it all together in symphony.

Knowledgable & friendly staff make you feel welcome as they guide you through the traditional flavor & style of the Caribbean dishes. Personally I cannot stop thinking of the Jerk Chicken Roll. Despite its strange name, the Oxtail is a true star, just grab an extra napkin because using hands are recommended for the best experience.

Linear owners ever, and it’s so wonderful to finally have a sit down Jamaican place in the hartford area instead of takeout. The food and drink was delicious, and the vibes were wonderful. Will be back soon!

Honest review: the service is great , the atmosphere is clean & well put together, the food is amazing , jerk chicken rolls full of flavor , the wings (plain) with jerk sauce on side is the best thing I could of done, the rice is great not salty or under seasoned, salmon was a 10/10 !!!!

( my experience may not be your experience but I recommend you give them a try , sit down & enjoy )

We absolutely loved our first meal at Long Gut Miss Pinny in Manchester, CT. Every bite was delicious. I had the oxtail and my husband had the curry chicken. Both were tender and flavorful. We especially enjoyed the side of cabbage, carrots, and red peppers. The waitress (daughter of the owner) was a delight; super friendly and kind. Highly recommended. We will be back!

A local gem with delicious food and amazing service!

We dined here on a Tuesday afternoon and felt very welcomed by the staff and owner, Miss Rosetta.

We ordered the Miss Pinny Bam Bam Shrimp, Ox Tail, and freshly made Sour Sop Juice. Everything exceeded our expectations, reminding us how comforting a delicious meal can be.

The seating was comfortable with lovely white table cloths, matching dinnerware, and a pretty floral piece in the middle. The owners did a great job of reflecting both elegance and warmth in the decor.

I would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant and I look forward to trying their other dishes in the future.
