Excellent. I was driving by and saw a Pollo Campero and knew I had to stop by for lunch after running errands. I havnt had Campero since 2015.
Excellent chicken as always, fresh, crispy, flavorful, juicy, all the words you want to hear about fried chicken.
I got my table card and was expecting a tray of food like how KFC or Taco Bell serves it but no. Kind young woman comes up to the table with your food on a plate! When we were done I’m used to going to a trash can and bussing my own table (like other fast food) but when I asked where the plate turn in was. They looked at me like I had 3 heads and said that you’re supposed to leave it there and a worker takes care of it afterwards.
You’re telling me I paid $13 for a 2 piece meal, 1 side, 1 tortilla, and a medium drink cup with unlimited refills. And they have service like that? I told all of my friends about the location, I will not be going out of the way for it but if I’m in the area then I’m clearing up all food plans and going back.
Chicken – 10/10
Tortilla – 7/10, I can’t hate on it, tasted like a tortilla but it fell apart. I eat with my hands and it’s all going down the same place, who cares
Yuca Fries – 9/10, I liked the sauce they gave with it
Empanadas – 8/10, delicious, wasn’t expecting a bit of sweet with refined flavors
Hibiscus/Orange Juice – 7/10, a bit too sweet but to each their own, I just cut it with water
Horchata – 10/10 when iced, the ice machine ran out of ice, I was impatient and filled up my cup and used my own ice at home.
Management should be proud of their team. Attached are examples of the food (I don’t let the camera eat first, I EAT first). Give it a shot if you’re in the area or debating another fast food chicken joint.

had such a great experience at Pollo Campero! From the moment I walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. Erick did an outstanding job with our service and Lucia the manager. the service was quick and organized. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor especially the fried chicken, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The sides were just as good, and everything tasted like it was made with care. The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice, comfortable atmosphere, making it a great spot to eat in or grab takeout. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this location to anyone craving delicious chicken and great service. I’ll for sure be coming back!

The chicken, fries & yuca were good. Drive-thru Service Window person was NOT good. When we received our order at the pickup window the guy seemed very rushed – yet there were no cars on line at that time. He seemed annoyed to even be there, then when giving our payment and returning our card, he passed us a big bag. We asked if that was everything, he seemed again annoyed and his response was with a very dismissive “YEA, that’s everything”. So upon inspection of the large bag, we said politely “so where are the 4 drinks?” Then he looked even more upset and his response was “oh give me a sec” – apparently he forgot to even make them. When he finally gave us our drinks, NO Apologies were given, he just passed the drinks thru the window and pretended he was taking another costumers order but yet there were no cars behind us at that time. Pretty RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL & very disconcerning considering this was the first time we ordered from that location. I don’t recommend using the drive-thru, and if you do, as always, carefully and thoroughly inspect everything to make sure you got your order correct. He also didn’t give us any STRAWS or ketchup, and didn’t give us any of our favor famous Pollo Campero sauce that we asked for in the beginning of the order. Yes I understand that we are all human and that we all make mistakes, but you don’t have to be RUDE about it and you can be very professional about correcting YOUR mistake – especially in the service industry.

I really tried with this place. The roasted chicken is great…..when available. If the dining area is busy, good luck finding a clean table. If I’m going to have roast chicken (anywhere) I might want to wash up before, but certainly after. The availability of restrooms has always been a problem here. I do speak some Spanish, but the drive up ordering was a waste of time. After my last visit, that was it. NO available restrooms AND the main entry doors were not in service. It’s a basic NATIONAL code, that assembly spaces MUST maintain 2 working exits at all times. They should not have been operating.
The ownership needs to take a look across the street. McDonald’s never runs out of anything, can take drive up orders in English, has a spotless dining area ALL times, always has available restrooms, and I’m quite sure would fix ANY egress problem before putting patrons in danger.

Personally I went to this location quite often for a bit but the last couple of times I’ve Visited it’s been nothing but back and forth and just not really what the standard should look like for a fast food restaurant I make the order very clear and each time I get asked the same question “ do you want pickles with this “ and I say no every single time recently went and got asked that question and I said no pickles in which when I got home and opened my meal the fries were in a disarray and the chicken sandwich had over six pickles on it which I found very ridiculous who even puts that many pickles on a sandwich unless you are playing jokes and clearly when you work in the business of servicing food jokes aren’t tolerated I had also requested two buffalo sauces and in which when I opened them it was a empty sauce container for both honestly staff from my experience going and repeatedly giving this brand chances to see if the service gets better it just never does the staff clearly aren’t trained in what it takes to do customer service you go through the drive-through and it’s always a abrupt “ give me one second “ in which follows radio silence for a good amount of time longer than anyone should be waiting honestly this location needs a better training method and training in work ethic since it clearly shows how little it is demonstrated based on how the workers act and handle the restaurant I never have just written off a food establishment but truly I wouldn’t recommend and personally am not giving my business based on the repeated issues faced from just trying to give a second , third and even fourth chance for quality to get better. Do better and get some training going

I tried to explain this issue to the associate with the red hair but she immediately dismissed me with an attitude. The food is pretty good with an interesting amount of variety with the chicken being well cooked and seasoned without being too greasy or bland or overcooked like at Popeyes. The prices are pretty good and the staff are polite. Between the three chicken restaurants this would probably be at number one with kfc at two and Popeyes at number 10.
