Formal Complaint: Unprofessional Conduct and Hostile Service at The Strand Location
I am writing to formally escalate a deeply concerning incident that took place at the McDonald’s location at The Strand.
During a recent visit, the store was entirely empty except for myself, my girlfriend, and one staff member. My girlfriend and I were having a conversation where she was freely expressing her personal opinions—exercising her right to speak her mind in a public space. Instead of allowing us to complete our visit in peace, an employee aggressively interjected and was incredibly unprofessional and hostile toward us.
When I attempted to address the situation and asked for the employee’s name to file a formal complaint, she flatly refused to provide it. The sheer disrespect and unwarranted hostility we experienced made it clear that we were being unfairly targeted. The interaction felt heavily biased, and I firmly believe we were subjected to a level of disrespect that would not have been directed toward other patrons.
To make matters worse, after speaking with others in the area, I learned that several other customers have experienced similar unacceptable treatment from the staff at this specific location.
I am completely appalled by the lack of professionalism and will never return to this establishment. I expect this situation to be escalated to corporate management immediately, and I would like to speak with a representative as soon as possible to address the unacceptable conduct of the staff.

Pretty sure burgers are supposed to be cooked. This location doesn’t bother to cook things, so you might bite into an uncooked burger.

Clean and modern interior, self serve kiosk or you can wait for someone to come to the counter. Drive thru was busy. Only waited a few minutes for order. You aren’t coming here for the service, just a quick burger and fries

Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 1 hamburger.
The cheeseburgers were missing the meat and the hamburger tasted gross with water coming our of it.
I live too far to go back.
Staff was nice and friendly, but the food was the worst I’ve ever had.

Food never seems to be fresh. French fries are usually stale. Have gotten my order wrong multiple times. Missing items that I ordered. As a last resort I would go to this place.

Your establishment says you’re open 24 seven I understand situations are the way they are sometimes and you can’t go ahead and provide services then change your set up because people who have worked all night are trying to get something in their stomachs and now have to go ahead and try somewhere else at 4:25 in the morning after working a shut down at at a hospital

My husband & I stopped in for a small mid afternoon lunch. This store looked new & was decorated in New modern furniture including a couch! The pop machine was totally broken so that wasn’t good. Our cashier was a friendly, helpful young lady who really worked to help us choose a different drink.
