I once had a truly horrible experience at McDonald’s that I still laugh about now—but only because it’s over. I ordered a Big Mac, simple and classic, and waited while my stomach did a countdown. When I finally got my bag and sat down, something felt off. The box was smashed, the burger was barely warm, and the sauce had leaked everywhere like it gave up halfway through life. One bite confirmed it: the bun was soggy, the patties were dry, and it tasted like it had been sitting there way too long. I went back to the counter, only to wait again while employees argued about whose order it was. By the time I got a replacement, my appetite—and my mood—were completely gone. That Big Mac broke my heart a little that day.

Imagine being pregnant sending your partner to your neighborhood McDonald’s thinking y’all are about to get fresh Breakfast and he’s waiting in line for 15 minutes and nobody even comes on the speaker! Nobody ever came and he had to drive across town. This McDonalds is always out of something, there’s always a wait, then the food is old and cold when you finally do get it! Quite possibly the worst McDonald’s in the entire greater waco area. Staff always rude, drive thru prioritized over inside customers no matter how small the order. And if you do go through the drive thru it’s likely to be a 45 minute wait. I would recommend just driving the extra few miles to the bellmead location, it’ll likely be faster even with the drive time.

Okay McDonald’s why do you guys have the lobby open if nobody is ever working front counter? It seems that workers walk right past us as if we’re invisible! Every location in Waco Texas does this! Just close the lobby and have drive through and curbside only.

McDonald’s handled our order very poorly today. They gave our food to another customer, and it sat in that person’s car while they went through the bag. The employee then tried to take it back inside, rebag it, and bring it out to us as if nothing happened. When we asked for a refund, the staff became rude instead of acknowledging the mistake. The entire situation was unprofessional and unacceptable.

ordered online , got there and they didn’t even ask for what number , i waited 20 minutes for 2 mcflurry and a frape just for them to tell me they didn’t have any. Lady proceeded to walk past me like i wasn’t there, she was very disrespectful .
