It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

The best part of the night was the service! Ahmad was hecka freakin funny. My mom and I got the unlimited shrimp and the steak. He kept us laughing all night including when we asked for two more shrimp bringing this plate He clearly loves his job. I wish he food was as good as he was!

The food here is amazingly good and fair priced. All the staff here are so wonderful and helpful. I absolutely love the cheese toast here and you have to add the salad bar to any meal for just $8.29 extra. You can’t beat the salad bar here with all its offerings including chicken wings, tacos, and mini corn dogs. I also can’t get enough of the brownies and soft serve ice cream.

They don’t really have “service” per se. You order at the register when you first enter the restaurant. We had the salad bar. OUTSTANDING. It’s well worth the price. The selection of things you can choose from is so great, including dessert. If you order the salad bar, it’s ALL YOU CAN EAT and all you need. Love it!

First visit and say welcome back o a very decent affordable salad bar with soups and desserts . With the loss of Sweet Tomatoes and Fresh Choice, Hometown Buffet in the area it’s been a long dry spell for us salad bar lovers. Other places advertise salad bars but the offerings are second rate and thin. You have choices of Romaine and iceberg lettuces and baby spinach then the rest of the makings including beets, garbanzo beans, sunflower seeds, tomatoes, corn, and more. Also mini taco bar and spaghetti/pasta. Also includes tuna salad, Mac cheese, Cole slaw, broccoli etc Only complaint is no labeling, especially of salad dressings.. desserts partner liked the banana pudding, not excited by the brownies or the fruit punch jello. I thought the Jello was too hard, like it was for Jello shots,not dessert.
Wheelchair accessible, two(?) were here tonight and parking seems to be easy.
Senior salad bar comes with drink.

I did an online order for two orders of french fries, my wife picked up my order. I opened the bag when she got home and they only put one order of fries in the bag, which was inside another bag that they placed nside a plastic container which made the fries soggy .Sizzler, you did not give .e what I purchased.

Terrible on costumer service! Food service was awful. An old guy with some of our order started yelling, mentioning the name of the food loudly, and saying so loudly- ” last call, last call”. And we are just in front of him. I found that so rude and humiliating. Ppl around are just staring at us. That server was very RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL! After delivering few of our orders, 4 more meals were still missing, and for those 4 meals, it came more than half an hour or so. Good thing we had added Salad bar on our meals. That helped us to wait longer for our meals to arrived. Regarding the meals, some are just terrible, dry and overcooked. The chicken sandwich that my son ordered, and came sooo late, was so dry & burnt it’s sooo hard to eat. My son just did not eat it, just shred the dry chicken to pieces, it looked like he was having fun. Atleast he enjoyed it that way. Then left it on the plate. Good thing he had the salad bar as well. BTW, SALAD BAR IS AWESOME. Anyways, overall, we are unsatisfied costumers.

Salad bar was good alot of variety. Prime rib hamburger was good with garlic mashed potatoes. 6oz steak and bake potato was good. Everything was cook to my order.

The restaurant is very clean and they put hand sanitizer stations throughout the restaurant.
They have 3 bathrooms and plenty of seating. They have dine in available.

Sizzler in Hayward, California, is absolutely delicious. There is a salad bar, desserts, and a variety of hot and cold items to suit your taste. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. Oh, by the way, the cashier will give you cash back for the waitress if you want to leave a tip. However, please be very careful she will take it without your knowledge. Now that real waitress service.

Healthy and delicious food from the salad bar. Waitress was kind. My experience brought back memories when I used to eat at Sizzler, when I was a kid. The price is right. Location near the freeway. I’m definitely coming back to Sizzler. Next time I’ll try their steaks.
