Sayulitas is literally a drunchies/munchies paradise.
One day I’ll be as buff as this burrito! Seriously, if you haven’t been to Sayulitas, they are the spot for incredible Filipino-Mexican fusion, known best for their MASSIVE burritos. I’m talking about a burrito so big that 4-5 people can easily eat just one.
What we ordered:
-Mummy Torta: Would 1000% get this again. The bacon wrapped torta is highkey a game changer and I’d say this was my fav thing.
-Cheese Burrito: This is like a breakfast burrito on steroids—huge and satisfying. It’s a LOT so beware…
-Tulog Burrito: This nap-inducing burrito can probably feed 5 people and not even exaggerating. It has ALL the meats! Pro tip: if you can’t eat it because of how big it is, just take everything apart and eat it-still just as good!
-Salchichon Fries: A drunchies dream come true, i wouldnt order this allll the time, but if you’re ever looking for the ultimate munchie meal…get this
-Horchata: If you love sweet horchata like I do, you’ll love theirs.
Also a BIG fan of their salsas….you can’t go wrong with any of them!
Come hungry! You will not be disappointed by the size or the flavor.

Very good place, they specialize in unique items like Filipino Mexican mixed food, but Lord it’s expensive. Their portion sizes are huge tho, so that’s a plus. Their burritos are enough for 2 meals at LEAST, and same for their fries. Def worth a try, but I wouldn’t recommend their free chips or their regular Horchata unfortunately. The food quality makes up for it tho, like the Lumpia burrito and Mummy Torta.

Lovely front lady, huge portion sizes and tastes great. Weirdly amazing amalgamation of Filipino and Mexican food. Love it. We share a burrito among 3 people or eat for 2 more meal, I am amazed by the portion.
Pacman burrito or fries are usually my go to order.

We loved everything we ordered!! but what really stood out for me was how well all the sauces and toppings blended together. The flavors were just right, nothing felt too much of the same taste

This fast-food restaurant markets itself as a Mexican eatery, selling burritos and fries, but the contents of the burritos are not traditional Mexican cuisine—they’re Filipino-inspired dishes. The burritos aren’t cheap, but they are enormous and incredibly tasty. Unless you’re extremely hungry with a huge appetite, it’s nearly impossible to finish an entire burrito in one sitting. The size and calorie count are simply mind-blowing!
I ordered the Longanisa burrito, which was filled with a savory-sweet mixture of stir-fried eggs and crumbled pork sausage, along with a generous amount of cheese. It’s the perfect indulgence when you’re craving something rich and high in calories!

unfortunately have to change my review. it seems like 9/10 times my order is wrong and i don’t find out until i’ve gotten home. prices also seem to have gone up. was $50 for 3 burritos with the chile relleno having NO chile at all and my bean burrito tasted like cigarettes because the beans were burnt and flaked with black char probably from scraping the bottom of a pan. they even asked to text photos because “cooks didn’t believe me”. it was inedible. very sad.

I went in today and got a burrito. It was a little expensive but it was also massive so it’s 2 meals for me. So I’d say the price is worth it. I got the Salchichon burrito and it was better than I expected. The polish sausage in it was very tasty and even though it tasted like a hotdog a little, it honestly worked really well for the burrito. The carne asada in it was also very tender and seasoned very well. The salsas also are great. The tomatillo salsa is drinkable. Very tasty. I will be going back again. I recommend you go and try it. Be prepared to spend a little money but the portions are worth the cost imo.

I will say, the portions here are humongous. Flavor is off the chart. Im a huge foodie so I can eat and love to eat. Dont let the price discourage you, extremely worth it. These portions are enough to feed 3 people.

This place used to be great. Service is good, food has gone downhill. Ordered the texas burrito and rolled tacos. Tasted like the end of day scraps of old chicken and the chile relleno in the burrito was thick chewy and hardend like old food being served. There was lettuce in the burrito. ALOT of lettuce. No where in the ingredients states lettuce. Feels like they cheaped out. The burrito was slop with every bite and a pool of red grease. Chill on the sour cream. The rolled tacos were soggy to the point of mush, not to mention there was a lot of lettuce. I will be fair in that this was take-out, however, the rolled taco should have taste and not fall apart or in half when picking it up. Again, the amount of sour cream was over kill. Where was the guacamole? Come on, do better Sayulitas. This is San Diego Mexican food, keep the bar high. Give me a reason to come back.
