This turned into a complete mess over what should have been a simple fix.

The Vanilla Iced Coffee was extremely watered down—more like vanilla water with almost no coffee flavor. I went back to have it remade, and instead of correcting it, the situation escalated because of a misunderstanding. I mentioned another location made it better, and the employee assumed I had purchased the drink somewhere else.

From there, it turned into an unnecessary back-and-forth about where the order came from and why there were two orders. (My husband ordered on the app, and I placed mine inside while using the restroom—very simple.)

Instead of focusing on fixing the drink, the team focused on defending the situation. We were asked to pull forward while they remade them, but the replacements were just as watered down. At that point, we ended up dumping all four drinks.

We’re not from this area, but basic customer service is the same everywhere—make it right and treat people with respect. This experience did not reflect the standard you expect from McDonald’s.

We will not be returning to this location.

I ordered 50.00 worth of food, and my food was missing and it was terribly made. I took several pictures of my food. Spicy Chicken sandwich was sloppy and sauce was everywhere, with 2 tiny tomatoes and few specs of lettuce, I took photos. My large fry was halfway empty, my McChicken had 1 tomatoe and few specs of lettuce, I have photos of this. All fries nasty and cold we had to reheat in the airfryer, and had to add lettuce to all my sandwiches. I paid for cheese bacon and tomato to be added to my mcchicken, and it was 1 tomato and specs of lettuce. I was missing my 3 cookies and 1 drink. This is ridiculous that I paid that amount and my Food was sloppy and missing. I can send pictures. I called the resturant over 10 times and no answer. This ridiculous and I will not be going here again. I would like a refund on my food. I will send receipt.

My wife was getting her Southern Style Sweet Tea, that she loved from McDonald’s, and it was hardly sweet at all. Now most people understand that Southern style is sweeter than most any where else, and she is particular about that. When she asked at the counter why is wasn’t so sweet, she was told that they have cut back on the amount of sugar in it. I think that location needs to just take it off the menu instead of falsely advertising a product. It’s bad enough the food you receive looks nothing like their pictures and it’s sloppy put together. On to the next McDonald’s and the tea was perfect, just don’t bother with the one on Gate City!

Food is pretty consistent at this location and the drive thru seems to move fast. We got one double cheeseburger and one regular cheeseburger tonight for a quick dinner.

We ordered no onions and extra pickles and they delivered on both modifications. The price isn’t terrible for these burgers but I sure do miss the cheeseburgers when they were just a little over a dollar!

The pictures will speak for themselves. I remember the filet of fish having a thicker and larger filet. The bunch was hard and burnt on the edges. More Tarter sauce than filet… Lesson learned.

Got my order wrong at the drive thru then disappeared. Once they finally came back, they forced me to drive thru and then give my order to the first window which ended up making the food take forever to come out. They ended up sending me to the second window and I waited 15minuyes there for my order.

Ordered a cup of coffee and extra sugar. The sugar was hard and lumpy as if it was old or had been wet. On another visit ordered chicken nuggets and quarter pounder with cheese. The nuggets were hard and the burger was poorly made. Neither item tasted freshly made. Just disappointing. I see why the low rating for this location. I’ll go elsewhere in the future.
