Husband was busy in a meeting and I meandered to this place as it was in close proximity to my hotel. The Greek Salad was awesome and the people are super kind. The owner makes rounds to make sure folks are happy. It was a wonderful lunch.

George & Louie’s is my go to place in Thomasville for dinner. I spend a bit of time at the counter talking with George, the owner, getting a bit of history of the place. He is always there and will make sure to stop by your table. This visit I had the fried shrimp with two sides. Shrimp were large and perfectly cooked. Also came with a container of chili and tartar sauce. My sides were cole slaw which was very very good. My other side was cheese grits, which should have been served hotter. The dinner also came with hush puppies which were very good. I highly recommend this very long standing establishment.

Delicious food. Friendly staff and quick to please the customer. The shrimp dinner was delicious! Don’t miss out on the fried green tomatoes! Cooked perfectly! Not greasy! The fish gyros was huge! I couldn’t eat all of it. Servings were large. Prices are reasonable. The owner walks around speaking with diners to ensure customers are pleased!

We celebrated my son’s birthday there. The manager was very attentive, friendly and helpful. Not only the manager but the whole staff. George was so friendly and sweet.
I gave them a short notice (2 hours) and when we got there they had reserved a table for us. They also stored our cake for us. Awesome place!!! Let me tell you about the food. Awesome as well!! We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you everyone there for helping make my son’s birthday special.

Great spot! Food A+++, Environment awesome with tables outside to enjoy the great weather (fall and winter). Not going to bash another famous fish spot in Tville named after Bible character but George & Louie’s is 10x better than that place. Prices are good as well. Lots of parking. Def recommend!! Go here and not the other fish spots!

Adorable and delicious restaurant close to downtown! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is quaint, and the staff are quite friendly. The deviled crab, hush puppies, and Greek salad were especially great. The owner even stopped by our table to introduce himself, he was incredibly hospitable.

We were looking to get out of town for the day and found this seafood restaurant on Google. It was slightly awkward walking in and not seeing any other minorities. Normally, I would’ve left for a more diverse restaurant but staff were so friendly. They made sure we felt comfortable, they kept checking on our needs, and they even greeted us on the way out. We were also worried that the food would taste bland but it was perfectly seasoned. They ran out of grouper but the staff was nice enough to suggest a different fish and give 1 extra. I would eat here again and I definitely recommend it for everyone else.
