Today, while visiting this mall, which is only 3 minutes from my daughter’s house, we were finishing up our Christmas shopping and decided to have breakfast at the IHOP in the Bayshore mall. The service was excellent, the staff who served us were very friendly, the food was delicious, and I enjoyed the best company: my daughter and my grandchildren. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed it very much. Thank you, guys, for the great service

Dude I have way too many order mess ups ordering online for delivery or pick up. I order before I go to work today to feed me and my family and they didn’t give me my two sides of fries and gave me an Oreo milkshake instead of a vanilla milkshake. And my double chocolate chip pancakes are supposed to come with chocolate syrup as well, but they didn’t give it to me. It defeats the purpose of skipping the dine in and going the faster way and picking up. $77 down the drain for dry pancakes and a lack of food I was expecting to get since I had paid for it. Update: the milkshake was water. Check photo.

I decided to treat myself to pancakes today and stopped by a place I’ve visited plenty of times before. The restaurant was completely empty when I walked in. But this time? Not one person greeted me.
I stood there for over 5 minutes with zero acknowledgment. The waitresses were sitting near the bathroom, clearly saw me, and still didn’t say a single word, not even “Hi,” “Be right with you,” or “Can I get you something to drink?”
After that kind of service (or lack of it), I just walked out. Really disappointing experience at a place I used to enjoy.

We ordered the big steak Omelet, cinnamon pancakes, chicken fajita steak and southwest chicken burrito. Everything was very good except the chicken fajita steak- it was as if they forgot to add the ingredients to the eggs until the end and threw everything on top. The southwest chicken burrito was superb especially with cholula hot sauce. They have amazing deals for seniors, which I thought was nice. And special menu after 2!

Very unorganized while waiting for a table. Food was cold. And there credit card machine was down which happens but…. Luckily I had cash. Won’t be my first choice on a Sunday morning for a very long time. A diner would be better. Just my experience and opinion.

**UPDATE: the manager at the location did reach out to me and refund me back the bill. I did update the service to be 3 instead of 1 star. I may or may not go there again to give it another chance. At the end of the day, the food was not good still, but if I go another time around hopefully it’ll be better.**
Our server was Jennifer and she had a bit of a nasty attitude to her. May not have been intentional, but her tone was off. She charged my friend for two grilled cheese sandwiches at over 14 bucks each and charged her the equivalent of a ham and fried egg sandwich because grilled cheese was not an option on the menu. At most, she should’ve been charged toast as a side and no reason she should have been given two full sandwiches. My spinach and mushroom omelette was mediocre. Some of the mushrooms were not even cooked. How do you screw up cooking mushrooms? The server completely forgot my side of hash browns. I wish I never mentioned it because these hash browns looked violated (picture attached). When life does not imitate art. She left this thing behind without hesitation on the table thinking it was fine. I had pieces of potato dangling on the edge of the plate like Spider-Man ready to risk it all. I have never went to one ihop that violated my hash brown the way they did. Every ihop I have ever went to has the hash brown rectangular and neat on the plate. I thought I had to interrogate this hash brown and ask, “who hurt you.” Looking like somebody sat on it and adjusted themselves 5 times before serving it to me. I did not take one bite of that mess. I laid it to rest with a napkin on top and hope that they buried it in the back with a ceremony. Should’ve played the trumpet for the hash browns. I am not coming back to this place again. The server also was very slow with getting back to us and checking on us. Definitely did not care at all.

It is a very nice place, especially for breakfast but when you go there you see the offer for $7 one fliers the table banner and outside banners is good if you suggest if you suggest in the menu, then ????.

Good for parties of all different sizes and occasions. Servers are always good and the food is brought pretty promptly. The food never wows me but it’s IHOP. Overall pretty good experience here though and I’ll probably go again. You just have to find the dish that’ll suit your needs better.

Terrible not sure why each IHOP has different quality taste but the pancake batter was completely pasty. It wasn’t just my dish it was my whole family’s pancakes. Super disappointing and a big wast, super overpriced for not keeping consistency. The one in Medford is great. I wish corporate would crack down on lacking establishments. It’s not the first time Bayshore had problems the quality of the pancakes. I certainly never will try Bayshore again not worth the risk but Medford location is still going strong.
