I’ve ordered a Reesie’s peanut butter cup blizzard well over 100 times in the past 30+ years from different Dairy Queen locations all over the United States, including this location many times. This is the first time I have complained about any DQ location.
I came here and ordered a Reece’s cup blizzard. And was handed a cup of about 99% soft serve with barely any Reece’s cups in it. Really maybe just a very few crumbs ground up.
I returned to the window and asked them to fix it or refund me. I was immediately told it was made properly (it was definitely 100% not made properly). I was shocked she tried to tell me this while I was standing right there holding what was a basically just a cup filled with soft serve. It was almost humerus that she was trying to argue with me that it was made properly. She then said “extra Reece’s costs 75 cents but that she would put extra on it “as a courtesy.” And then took the cup and just put cut up Reeces on top of it (not mixed in).
Worst blizzard I’ve ever had. Worst service I’ve ever had at a DQ. Totally shocked I was treated so rudely and given such poor service. I am kind of in disbelief that someone would give me such poor service when it’s so obvious I was handed just mostly a cup full of soft serve. Also I was given no receipt – which usually I wouldn’t care about. But it just adds to the way this locaton does business.
Not surprised while posting this review I found a review from 3 weeks ago from another customer named Deborah who thought to take a picture of her blizzard (which was also clearly just a cup full of soft serve) and there are other reviews posted with similar experiences.

What a great experience at Dairy Queen . We were up for a drove from Miami and stopped at wonderful place for a treat . Lynn runs a tight ship and makes up some wonderful ice cream treats. Pumpkin Blzzard will always be one of my favorites . Friendly and delicious. 2 great things to be .

I can’t remember the last time I was SO blown away by just the customer service alone! I was second in line, and heard how Lynn was talking to the customers in front of me – like they were best and close friends or even family! When it was my turn – guess what – she treated me with the same friendliness, efficiency, warmth and charm – it’s worth going there ALONE for just the interaction with her, she is absolutely amazing. Anyone who wants to learn what good customer service is – just go and buy something from this Dairy Queen. NOW, on to the treats! I’d never been to DQ before, but heard about these amazing Blizzards – so I asked for her recommendation – and she went through everything with me – it’s a little overwhelming, knowing what to get for your first visit – but she guided me and I ended up with a chocolate brownie blizzard – and let me tell you, out of all the milkshakes and ice cream treats I’ve had in south Florida, this one KNOCKED THE SOCKS off all the others. Five stars is not NEARLYY enough – it was rich, creamy, full of brownie chunks – it’s the kind of thing you dream about. It was only $7.50 (unlike other ridiculously expensive ice cream and milkshake spots) – and was worth every single cent and then some. UNBELIEVABLE! LYNN! I’LL BE BACK AND BRINGING MY HUSBAND!

This Dairy Queen in Wilton Manors is one of the best! The staff is always super polite, friendly, and upbeat — even when it’s close to closing time. They’re great about letting you know about free promos and deals, which really shows they care about their customers. The service is quick, the place is clean, and they always make my order just right. Definitely my go-to DQ!

My boyfriend and I love this location because we can eat outside at the tables. The staff is always so friendly and the service is quick! My personal favorite is the Reese’s pieces + cookie dough blizzard but you can’t go wrong with anything you order here

This was the first time that I have been to a Dairy Queen in many years and it was a great experience. I ordered a large vanilla cone and it was so delicious but actually too much for me. But really a fair price. I will be back!!

Worst customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. This was my first visit, and it will absolutely be my last. The cashier never asked what ice cream flavors I wanted for a banana split. When I asked after paying, she just made faces instead of speaking or trying to help.
The real problem was the employee in the back, who spent the entire time running her mouth, talking loudly and disrespectfully about us instead of addressing the issue like a professional. She even called her “boss” to complain and tried to make it seem like the situation was our fault, when it clearly wasn’t.
Completely unprofessional, rude, and embarrassing behavior for a business that’s supposed to serve customers. No accountability, no customer service skills, and a hostile environment.

I got ice cream last night 2 cookies and cream blizzards extra cookies. Nothing complicated however the ice cream wasn’t good at all. Banana splits appear to be a problem for the woman working Friday night. I showed her that there was not any chocolate syrup. The woman insisted she put chocolate in it. Instead of correcting the order , She went on and on about how she made no error. I suggest management show the staff the basics of making their desserts. The woman was a bit unhinged and defensive. According to the other reviews , the manager is extremely stingy, and won’t give you, your money back. My guess is they were out of chocolate but they were determined to take my money anyway. Not the best way to do business . Pic proves no Chocolate.
