Service was good. When I came in I was trying to figure out exactly what I wanted. Once I was ready they promptly took my order.
Seemed like a lot of employees for very few customers. Maybe just a slow time of day for their business.
Not sure watered down 8oz soup is worth $6.99, but I saw the price before I ordered. Just figured bowl size would be just that. And didn’t realize it was watery until I got back to the hotel.
Not a lot of healthy options in the area. So, you get what you can get.
I’d do this again. Maybe not the soup next time though.

Ordered Broccoli Cheese soup this evening and it was completely watered down. This is my 3rd time ordering this soup. 3 strikes and you are out! Called and spoke to Tameka the manager who initially was too busy to come to the phone. She said that when they open a new thawed pack it’s watery because it hasn’t formed it’s thickness…
It seems as if they watered the soup down to make it stretch over time. Disappointing Sumter McAlister’s! Guess we have to go to Columbia to get better food and service from a McAllister restaurant.

Apparently it’s acceptable to put a $10 sandwich on an end piece of bread? Not only that, but this was an avocado BLT, with NO avocado… this was a to-go order so I was not aware that this was the state of my sandwich until I was 15 minutes away.

I placed an order for delivery through their website directly on 1/23 and never received the order. The delivery driver was from DoorDash and showed up with Taco Bell for Grace then never came back. I called the restaurant twice and was told by a manager that I would receive a refund. No refund was ever given. She also told me to come in for a free cookie or drink for my trouble. I’ll never be ordering anything from this place again and I’ve disputed the charge with my credit card company for the $27.59.

Really enjoyed our dinner. Everything was fresh. Best sweet tea around. Spud Max and French Dip (choose 2) were delicious. Fast friendly service. And the best thing is they are open for dining in. Thank you, McAlister’s!

First thing I noticed walking into McAlister’s Deli was the mouth watering smells. It was difficult trying to decide on what to eat because they had a lot to choose from. I finally decided on a turkey wrap that did not disappoint. For the money, the amount of food did not dissapoint me.

Had lunch here today; Jaden took our order and was not only very friendly but on top of things the whole time. There was a mixup in the kitchen with one of our orders involving an allergy (not Jaden’s fault; he took our order perfectly and confirmed all the details), but he still did an excellent job of efficiently getting it sorted out, and even though the restaurant was busy he took the time to make sure we were all taken care of. He provided some of the best customer service I’ve had in a while.

Just tried McAlister’s fir the first time and it was awesome! I hit the jalapeño turkey crunch, one of their current specials. It was a great size, came with a pickle, And a side of mac & cheese was on point. Service was fast for take-out. I wish they had delivery!! I look forward to trying everything on the menu:) if you haven’t Tried this place I would highly recommend it.

I absolutely love the salad choices. Sandwiches are good also, but it’s hard to find a salad that is not iceberg lettuce. Love them!
