I love coming here the staff are always kind very friendly, the foods always hot and really good. My favorite are their chicken tenders they’re so delicious they don’t even need sauce cuz they hold so much flavor alone. This time I noticed they had new sauce so I tried two of them and they are phenomenal. The first one is the famous sauce the second one was the bonsai that one is sweet but not overly sweet.

Another iconic great tasting chicken place falling victim to recent mediocrity phenomenon. It is not the original recipe. Original recipe is no longer followed. Tastes bland and the chicken meat is dry. It is 2 out of 5 flavors. Also, the inside of this restaurant is completely saturated with itchy Gain detergent using employees. Super duper itchy to be inside this restaurant.

I always stop by Lee’s on my way up north. The Apple Avenue location is my favorite. The absolute best sweet tea anywhere! The chicken is always hot and fresh. I wish they would throw out the wedges when they get old and dry, they can ruin your meal. On this particular day I ordered a Gizzard meal.

Me and my friend use to come all the time. Over the past few months the portions have gotten super small for the price. In the pictures I posted you can see how small the chicken strips are and just a tiny bit of mashed potatoes. This was a 5 piece chicken strip meal and all 5 pieces of chicken were like this and so was my friend’s. This is crazy considering they charge almost $15 for this meal!

Got the gizzards and the chicken tenders with sides. The tenders were dry and they forgot to put sauces into the bag. Gizzards were tender, but the batter wasn’t adhering and crumbled off into the bag. Also, people who ordered after me, got served before me. Food was good, but not worth the hassle.

I have ordered Lees Famous chicken sandwiches the last two times and had to wait about twenty minutes each time. This last trip I ordered mashed potatoes and gravy for the side and received Mac & Cheese!!! Very disappointing to wait that long and not even receive the correct order. It will take me a while before I go back!!!

Waited 20 minutes because potato wedges weren’t done. Cold soggy chicken tenders (expect the weirdly rock like bits, and stringy chicken). Not sure what was wrong with the wedges, not cooked inside, over floured batter on the outside. Biscuit was not fluffy. No part of the food was even decent enough to eat. The dogs liked it well enough, but they are dogs, so pretty low standards.

Ordered 12 pc meal “spicy” and everything was famous. Don’t care for famous and was disappointed that I didn’t get what was purchased. 46$ you would think that you could get what was ordered. Tried to call but no answer. Another sad issue. I own a fast food restaurant and this is unacceptable in my eyes.

I never write reviews but had to this time. After waiting for 20 mins, we received the wrong order around 9pm. We called to try to fix it (either by refund or new order) and was told to return tomorrow (as they were closing soon) with the incorrect food and receipt for a refund. The lady on the phone was disrespectful and did not seem to want to fix the error. Won’t be returning.
ALSO- decided to try what we had received and bit into a BONE in one of the BONELESS chicken tenders. Absolutely unacceptable!!
