Well adios Bouna and Portillios I just found the best Italian beef in NWI. The reviews did not let me down. Great taste and when I tell you the sandwich was STUFFED it was packed to the brim lol. I also got a turkey sub and that was delicious as well. 10/10 all the way. I’ll be seeing you again real soon.

This place is if you never been is order at the front counter and seat yourself. We had a house salad around 4bucks i think extra for the dressing smh, didn’t like that but. Self serve drinks. We had a medium pizza with veggies. Tasted like a marinara base sauce which was nice and flavorful. Fresh veggies. Nice crispy crust but honestly a little too crispy in my opinion but it was ok.. service was good atmosphere Nice. Good place to try . I heard they’re known for the sandwiches, next time I’ll try one

Order at the counter and then be seated if you are dining in. Food is brought to you. Drinks are self serve. Had the house salad and dressing costs extra .70. Thought that was a little weird because if you order salad, dressing is supposed to come with it. Anyway, I liked that the salad had radish. The appetizer was fried jalapeños, which were nice with the marinara. They have a slight kick of heat to them. Also had a medium pizza with mushrooms, olives, and peppers. The crust was nice and crispy. The marinara was thicker in quality than I normally see on pizza, but it was good. The cheese was gooey, yum yum. I think the marinara was the overpowering flavor of the pizza because it was all veggie. You would have to try with a meat to see if there is a difference. I would try again with different ingredients. Will be back to try their sandwiches, read that this is what they are known for.

The Italian Beef at Pepinos Schererville was huge! Ample amounts of thinly sliced beef with with a unique spicy giardiniera that included green olives. I would’ve liked to have been a little spicier, but it was fine and the jus was good. This was a banger of a sandwich and I would definitely order it again. The staff who assisted me with my purchase were very attentive and nice.

Have been enjoying their food since the Calumet City days. Always delicious and the staff is always absolutely fantastic. My only small complaint is they need to bring back the bone in pork chop sandwich. Was one of my favorites from the Cal City days.

Holy cow, if you like Itilian beef, you have to try this restaurant. I had the itilian beef itilian sausage combo, and it was the best itilian beef I have ever had. On top of that, the fries are fresh cut and just as good. Great out of the way spot that I found. The staff was really friendly and recommended the food to me. I will definitely be returning again!! If you go there to eat, you’re going to put on about 10 pounds with their portions, but it is worth it!

Ordered two beef sandwiches. I ordered fries which were seasoned with something and 1 onion ring. The French fries were over cooked oil drenched and soggy. Put them in the deep fried all I got was a puddle of oil on the drip tray and increased temperature. Onion-rings amount for cost questionable. Sandwiches were okay as the The meal was $30 dollars Pops more consistent. Joe the old owner or Pepe what ever his name was didn’t serve this up ever!

Went in this past Saturday, November 15th to get a turkey sandwich and a salami sandwich. The bread and toppings were so fresh. The best sandwich I’ve had in a very long time. I wish we had 1 in Indianapolis. I’ll be back in December.

Quick and friendly.
Had fried zucchini and sweet potato fries, before a large Italian beef, onion and pepper pizza. Okay combo, crust was boring. Price was decent. Good portion sizes.

Got the combo beef and sausage with the works. Great tastes- beef flavor, char on sausage, just right roll- and portions are made for leftovers. Will definitely be a return guest
