I love this restaurant. The food is really good, the drinks are excellent the bartender Roberto makes the best drinks..and the service is top of the line. Everything is good, you can’t go wrong…its get packed so, make a reservation if you want to be sure you get a table when you arrive.

First time here and it was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere, food, and service were exceptional. Barbara ( but I called her Barbie) was an amazing waitress and was also attentive and helpful. The food tasted delicious, the presentation was beautiful, and the cocktails were delicious! I had a party of 6 and we all enjoy our food and the service. We appreciate everything you guys did to make this a wonderful experience.

Came here during happy hour and stayed for dinner. The drinks and the service were outstanding! Much, much better experience than Max Downtown. However, the food was mediocre. The steak tacos were over cooked and most items liked memorable flavors. Even the plating was kind of dull. I’ll definitely come back for cocktails but not for food until the quality improves.

I had an excellent weekday lunch at Trumbull Kitchen. Huge menu, fresh ingredients, and warm and inviting atmosphere. We loved the kale salad, soup, burgers and fried chicken sandwich. The staff was attentive and everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly recommend!

They’re happy our menu is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and ready to help. We enjoyed the salmon slider, the marinated beef, the spinach croquettes, and a wonderful Caesar salad. We complimented our meal with some nice wine and well crafted cocktail.

We were there for a business meeting. The dinner was absolutely wonderful and everyone at the table enjoyed it. I had the halibut and switched out the sides for potatoes and asparagus. The Connecticut beer selection was OK but I think they could probably use another really good local beer on tap. The desserts were absolutely off the charts. Would highly recommend the carrot cake waffle

What can I say.
Seating:
We booked a table near the window. Request to continue the window which was still available when we arrived.
We was not placed near a window but rather near a whole family section of loud kids and parents.
We were in formal attire and looking for a date for my last night in America so the stakes are high and very important.
We requested to move in the corner away from all people. Shortly after they placed 3 women just 3 on a table fit for 9. Right next to us, boy was they drinking and being loud in my opinion.
Food:
My food was cold, re heated in the microwave and overdone (steak) my sprouts, I could not even bite into they’re were basically raw.
My husbands food was no better. His burger bun had pickle juice soaked in, he can’t stand pickles but doesn’t like to speak up.
Drinks:
Requested a drink with separate ice, I like to chew my ice, we both do.
I was insulted by the lady “just because your ice is separate doesn’t mean you get more”
That was never my intention.
I did question why the drink was the size of a shot when its supposed to be a glass of orange juice with a shot of vodka.
I was met with discrimination because my Autism had questions and was curious on how america did certain things.
Leaving:
We didnt eat, we just wanted to leave, we didnt even drink, after the belittling from the staff member we was upset and myself on the verge of tears our night was ruined.
They offered to pay for everything but we wanted nothing, we took the free drinks and was about to go on our way. We was offered free dessert. Were not much for sweets but we thought to give them a second chance we took some cake home that they gave us, we just wanted to get the hell out of there.
The desserts were dry, tasteless and bother dissapointmwnt, its as if they gave us what was going to be thrown out.
Never ever again would we go there. I’ll be letting all my british friends/family know and aware to not visit this place ever.
There was a staffnember who was really sorry and sweet she was great at taking our orders down but would jump to other customers attention instead of dealing with our request first. Which was to get a candle. We waited 30minutes and resulted in asking 2 other staff members until finally we got the romantic candle date disaster.
Was crying all night once I got home to spend the last hours with my long distance husband. They couldn’t even offer me a $500 gift card to return, I’d decline on the spot.

This should be a must stop for anyone in Hartford. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the marinated hangar steak and the flavors were a taste of perfection! I have to say the Carrie at the bar really made my night. She suggested the steak and just had the best personality and old fashioned
