The cheese steak was outstanding!!! Wish I had dug into the fries before driving back to my hotel (they were crinkle cuts, my favorites, but had cooled off during the drive). Loved the dine in side, that had the old-school video game tables… brought back some memories. If you’re in the area and want a DAMN GOOD cheese steak, I definitely recommend Rick’s!!!!

Such sweet workers, and some good food. Highly recommend those cheesteak egg rolls. Me and my father visited and they were sweet enough to give them on the house, after hearing we had been doing a cheesteak tour around Newport News. We took a photo but only after we had devoured most of it, that’s a sign it’s pretty darn good cheesteak.

So I think you spend money here. The food is good though. I would eat here but I don’t leave close. Next time I go just steak, cheese, onion,green pepper, mushroom, salt, pepper, Mayo, and yes I am a big boy.

The fries tasted exactly like they looked burnt and dry with absolutely no seasoning or flavor I ate two.
Cheese steak with wiz was decent bread could’ve been better of toasted, lot of meat and wiz gave it the little bit of flavor it did have but all in all it was pretty bland. Nothing special about it. Would never go out of my way to home here again

Dax is GREAT, amazing kid . His energy and character are so welcoming and relatable. My husband and I had a long , day and we got a late dinner , I’ve never been here before my husband had come here a lot as a kid and it is….. YUUUMMMMYYY. They had darts which is nice , we played while waiting for our food which came out quickly and it was perfect. Cheesesteak had me on a cheese high & usually when I get a cheesesteak (not from here) it’s so greasy my bread is soggy but oddly LOL this bun was the softest and toastiest at the same time. It was so enjoyable I finished the whole thing. I recommend 10/10

New to area and tried Rick’s and the cheesesteak was the BEST! My food was made to order and the wait was short. Rick’s will definitely be my go-to place and I cant wait to try other menu items. The nice lady greeting customers is very sweet.

Paid for 5 Cheese Steaks they were great as always. But when I looked at the receipt they charged me 15% for orders 5 and over. When I called to speak to the manager Katlin terrible customer service talked over me didn’t care! Been a Customer for the last 6 years not going back. The service was fast. Food came out quickly. We got mozzarella sticks that came out with a strange marinara. My son ordered the steak and cheese with extra meat. It was huge and very good. I ordered a burger. It was tough and I’m pretty sure a frozen patty which I didn’t eat. He got the fried cheesecake which was also pretty tasty. We were leaving and there was a rush at the bar, people coming in ordering, picking up, trying to check out. If they put better systems in place and used real meat for their $9 burgers it could easily be 5 stars.

Im from South Jersey & I’m picky about my pizzas and cheesesteaks. These are pretty dang close! And they’re sooooo hefty! I enjoy coming here for lunch. Their onion rings are amazing too, you might want to get an order of them for each person
