Perfect if you’re looking for a local spot, well attended by Strausbourg locals. The Pork Knuckle & potatoes were the highlight of our trip, perfectly cooked and easy to cut into. Loved to sample the German meats/sausages as well. Service is a little slow, but well worth the wait!

Big on atmosphere as its quite small and tables are packed tight!! So chatting to people you dont know as you bash elbows is fun.
However the food was a bit disappointing for us, huge portions with no finesse and small menu.
It wasnt our favourite place but it was fun.

The food was decently good, although a bit pricy. Waiting time is long during lunch time as there were a lot of people waiting (also enjoying their time) while the restaurant is quite small. I’d recommend the pork knuckle. The potato is a bit oily. Everything could be better, but still worth a try

I came here for lunch on a Friday.
I got the 2 course lunch deal (€19.90) and chose the cold courgette soup for starters and the fish option for the main.
I didn’t have high hopes (I don’t particularly like cold food or fish, but the waitress recommended it so decided to give it a shot) but oh my gosh, the food was absolutely delicious!!!
The soup was surprising flavourful (it was a hot day) and the fish was super addictive with the potato and salad
Definitely worth giving it a try at lunch time, really good value!
(Didn’t get any dessert as was way to full at this point)

Perfection. Make a reso- rightfully popular and crowded. Staff are so kind and passionate. So many beautiful wines to perfectly pair with your food. Gluten free possibilities if you need and helpful staff to guide you❤️

The restaurant has a homey cabin vibe to it. Food is very classic Alsatian, restaurant seemed to be filled mostly with locals or French people. Generous portions dishes more on the rustic side.

The place is really nice, despite a reservation we waited a bit. We took a bottle of wine, 2 main dishes and 6 escargots. Nothing to say, food was delicious and tasty. The ribs were extremely favoured, jambon was cooked perfectly, potatoes were tasty, and escargots were a very interesting discovery. Sadly, I didn’t like the service at all: they served other people before us, when they came in much later. We ended up spending 2:30 hours in the place for this. Also, price is a bit on the high side for what you eat in my opinion: the wine is especially expensive, but also very good. Can’t complain on the quality.

A Strasbourg local recommended this place to me and I am so thankful for the recommendation. From the moment I walked in the friendly, busy neighborhood restaurant vibe was so joyful. The elderly couple next to me were obvious regulars, chatting with other patrons, asking me how I liked my food, sharing their wine and conversation with the wait staff. Loved soaking all of this in. I tried 3 glasses of wine recommended by one of servers and they were all excellent. I ordered choucroute garnie for my main course – delicious and hearty just the way it should be. Would love to return to this place and Strasbourg!

Our favourite restaurant in Strasbourg! They have truly the coolest patio that is semi indoors. It was such a fun setting. The staff were all so kind, and knowledgeable. From the wine recommendations to having fun jokes with the lovely waitress with the imagine dragons tattoo, this was the highlight of our trip. Food was great, wine great, everything great.
