Chose this restaurant because of location for restaurant week. It was a wonderful surprise. Restaurant is nice fresh flowers wine bottles to greet you. Our hostess had the best earrings. My daughter ordered the bistro filet and onion rings loved it all! I went with the seafood Newburgh and when I say I left only half of 1 asparagus on my plate!! Love this Restaurant cannot wait to go back and try more.

Very nice experience. Food is genuinely good. Service was very friendly and prices reasonable. Salmon cooked perfectly. Fries are freshly cut. Didn’t take pics of the brunch but it was delicious! Perfect cozy restaurant, ok for kids too. I look forward to coming back again.

We had a private dinner for about 35 adults and a few youths and children. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the entire evening. Rene was our contact who helped us get this together. She was fabulous. Our servers, Ashley and Cole were incredible. The food was just as good as them! I highly recommend this location for a similar dinner or party. And it’s great for date night too.

Very nice restaurant in Reisterstown. The original log cabin was built in the late 1700s. It was a variety of businesses over the years. In 1987, the building was converted to a restaurant. You have to be alert to find the place since the sign is not easily seen from the road.
The entrance is in the back, which is good because the free parking lot is in the back. There are steps so it’s not easily accessible for wheelchair riders.
My wife had soft shell crabs with sauteed spinach. She enjoyed it. I had grilled NY strip steak with grilled asparagus, very tasty. My brother had chicken fricassee. It wasn’t made the way our mother used to make it, but he liked it anyway. My sister-in-law had crab cake. They both enjoyed the meals.
We all had dessert. Excellent.
The restaurant is set up with a number of small rooms. This arrangement keeps the noise level lower than the noise level in most restaurants.
I recommend The Grill at Harrynan House.

I have tried their food several times via Doordash but this time dined in. The building is very interesting and has many small dining areas and a full bar.
I started with deviled eggs and they were very tasty though only 3 halves were served for $10. I got so excited I ate one before remembering to take a picture. They place a topping of the day on them, which was blackened salmon at my visit. Five star for taste, two star for quantity.
I has a burger and fries. The burger was so messy and they only provide a cloth napkin. Finger food really should be accompanied with a paper napkin. The fries were hand cut and very thin, really tasty. I had the fruit punch with alcohol for my drink, I forget the exact name.
For dessert I had the pudding and a “pick two liquors” coffee. My choices were kahlua and a chocolate liqueur. The coffee was delicious. The pudding did not please me, my favorite part was the whipped topping which was very tasty.
Overall I feel with their image and prices they are trying to be find dining. Admittedly they did have escargot on the menu and other tasty looking dishes, but the overall flavour profile did not impress me for the price. Also, the server seemed very nonplussed to have to wait on me. I guess I needed to dance or something to entertain him. Overall I will give them four stars and try dining in again in the future.

Still a great place. Here during the restaurant week and did the $42 special with the oyster app and pappardelle for entree and berry tart for dessert. Our server Randy was excellent.

Where has this place been. Directed here by a friend that has visited before, I truly enjoyed my visit. This place is amazing. The feel of country dining with delicious food and awesome service. They are tucked along a main road, so it may be easy to miss it when looking for it. But, since everyone has GPS, you should find it. Parking is tough. If they are busy, there may not be much of it to go around. Being seated was good, but the acoustic in the area we were seated in was not. We literally heard the next tables conversation as if the were talking to us. The view of the main road was cool. The menu is kind of limited, so don’t expect a large selection choice. The food didn’t come out as quick as we would like, but that is in just about every restaurant these days. The selections were still worth it. The Chicken and Waffles is a good breakfast/brunch choice. There is also a kids menu. They serve cocktails and mocktails with the meals. I recommend if you are in the Reisterstown, MD area near Main st., Stop in and enjoy.
