Stopped in for supper for the first time and found a great spot. We did have to wait an hour but that was okay.
Our waitress was friendly and attentive.
The blue cheese fries were off the hook and honestly better than our meals. But our meal was also very good. We did order mixed drinks on the menu but there was absolutely no alcohol, just fruit juice for $9 each.
My daughter did order the hamburger with sprouts and had to take them off as it was like eating a hamburger with grass cuttings. Lol

This was a good spot. We were driving from the Congaree national park and we’re a little hungry after our 11 mile hike. The Mrs. searched places in Sumter as we passed through. J O’Gradys popped up with good reviews and a very interesting menu.
We were expecting a restraunt based on the large and interesting menu, but it was a pub. It must be an Irish sports pub based on the name and all of the sports pictures. I could differentiate between the kinds of sports in the pics. However they were very old timey and must have significance if you are a sports historian. I’m not.
The food was very good. We got the Ahi wontons for starters and they were excellent! Honestly the we could have got a couple orders of those and been happy. I got the caroline pulled pork tacos with onion rings and my significant other got what I would describe as a huge messy delicious burger. It was called the cannarella. We planned to share. Glad the burger came with a knife!
The server was helpful and prompt. The atmosphere was very nice and sports pub-ish, but this place offers far more than bar food. It is a restraunt,a good one. And a pub.
We will be back again when in the area.
Edited to give 5. Stars. Not sure why I gave it 4.

The food was fantastic. Atmosphere was spot on. Best of all the beer, the beer is great. The staff, for being our first time visiting they treated us like family. Could not have asked for a better dining experience! The staff that took care of us are; Nikki, Caitlin and Martinna!

What a great find while passing through Sumter. I’m glad we had time to stop in for a bite. The burgers are huge and tasty. we even tried the beer and bacon ice cream. You really have to love bacon to enjoy that ice cream which my husband does so it was a win for him. Our service was fantastic and there’s a lot of really awesome sports memorabilia throughout the restaurant. They have a lot of great choices on their menu so the next time we’re in the area we may stop back and try one of their salads.

Great Shrimp salad with a wonderful berry vinaigrette! Delicious!! Husband had a Burger and onion rings with a beer batter! They had the best flavor and the dip for the rings was really flavorful! Iced tea was just the right strength and great taste. It was perfect weather to sit outside!

We’ve traveled here for business a few times. Each time the owner has greeted us graciously. Nice downtown Sumter environment. But the wait staff could use some training. Not knowledgeable of the menu and seem to be too bothered or rushed even though there weren’t very many people there at the time. I always order the burger BR K55. Each time we ask what that means. They never know. Weird.

We arrived with a group of 7 when they opened and were greeted outside by the manager/owner? He was so pleasant and took several photos for us outside. Our waitress was the sweetest adn most patient regarding all our varied requests and questions. We had salads and burgers and onion rings, fries, and of course beer bacon ice cream. I have never had the ice cream before and it was very nice. My salad with shrimp was very fresh and the balsamic dressing was on point. I will return with my family, it was a most pleasant day. Thank you to the staff!

This place is really cool. I was in town for a night for work and glad I stopped by. I got the bacon blue burger and it was probably the best burger I have had in a long time. Bartender was great, friendly, and made some quality recommendations for the food and beer.
