The menu is a candy store for grown-ups. I rotate through Concretes like the BootDaddy (Oreo®, crème caramel, hot fudge), Triple Chocolate, and the Ooey Gooey with Heath® and almonds; when I’m feeling extra, the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer (peanut butter, brownies, hot fudge core) is outrageous. Old-school sundaes (Ozark Turtle!), banana splits, malts, shakes, floats—plus take-home pints, quarts, and the Pick 6 of frozen FreezCretes™—mean there’s always an excuse to come back.
Seasonal runs seal the deal—Pumpkin Pie in the fall, Strawberry Shortcake in spring, peach treats in summer, candy-cane vibes in winter—so even my “regular order” keeps changing with the calendar. Honestly, the custard’s dense, ultra-creamy texture and the toppings’ quality make it hard not to visit five days a week. If you see me there next week, I’m just keeping the streak alive.
I ordered a small vanilla custard sundae, with Crushed pineapples, Strawberries, and Peanuts.
Now my first sundae was filled up to the top but the peanuts were whole not not crunchy looking peanuts that appear in my photo. I should’ve just taken the original sundae that was prepared first and just asked for the crunchy peanuts. This second sundae was not worth $8 and a tip. I know going forward I have to be SPECIFIC even though that should be a question the person taking my order should ask the customer before just preparing whatever they choose to. Especially if there’s different options to choose from.
I’ll still stop at this location whenever I’m in The Colony, TX. area
Not only was it frustrating and careless on their part, but I had to throw the whole thing away, which is especially disappointing when you’re spending money on a treat. For a business serving so many mix-ins and toppings, they need to take allergies seriously, clearly label their ingredients, and have specific utensils for handling peanut products. This kind of oversight is unacceptable.
