This place was good we got grilled chicken and steak and eggs , the tzatziki sauce was yummy . The piece of grilled chicken I got was so tender. I could cut it with paperwork. They used canned mushrooms, cause I got sautéed onions and mushrooms on it, but they were still good. The bathrooms are the only downfall here they’re very dirty. But everything else is great no complaints food wise costed 40$ for two lunches

Amazing food, friendly service, and a charming retro vibe. I’ve lived in Connecticut my whole life and only started coming here recently… I’m definitely kicking myself for waiting so long LOL! The French fries are always 10/10, fresh and flavorful every single time.

I highly recommend the tuna melt, the corned beef hash breakfast plate, or the patty melt. You really can’t go wrong here.

I had heard great things about Olympia Diner. We happened to be in the area and we had a great time! The atmosphere is cool, very retro, table side jukeboxes, and stylings of the 50/60’s. The staff was very friendly and service prompt. Our food was absolutely delicious. The menu selection is wide, with offerings for everyone. If you haven’t been to Olympia Diner, make a stop. You won’t regret it.

My husband and I love diners and we were excited to try this one since we were in the area. It’s an adorable building and the service was decent, but the food was terrible. I’ve never had dried out, tough pancakes before today. My husband had the pigs in a blanket, and his pancakes were raw in the middle, making his meal inedible. We got up and left our meal on the table. The hostess asked us how everything was so we were honest and told her. She didn’t even seem surprised — just mumbled that she was sorry, and charged us the full price for the breakfast we couldn’t and didn’t eat. We will NOT be back.

We heard about this place being put up for sale and wanted to try it out given it’s long-standing local history. Friday night dinner was very quiet. Music quietly playing in the back but ambience did feel a little run down due to this. It’s a small space but cozy and homely. Overall the space is meant to look a bit retro, just comes off as worn. Bathroom was ok, two stalls in the women’s room but could use some cleaning given the downtime.

Staff were great and quick to help. They did check up on us a couple times during our meals. I also saw them friendly with some customers who I presumed were regulars. It’s good to see a business build long-lasting relationships with it’s clientele.

Food was fine. The Greek omelet (subbed out for Swiss cheese and spinach) was good. Home fries were a touch overdone but still tasty. The burger was okay but coleslaw was very sweet. Overall good and we’d come back again.

This is the diner you’re looking for. Classic, and I mean CLASSIC all-american stainless 1950’s diner. Breakfast was great, at a reasonable price, and the delightful ladies were as accommodating and hospitable as they are beautiful.

This just entered first-call breakfast stop rotation.

We LOVE Olympia Diner!

I loved the vibes at Olympia Dinner. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our breakfast of 2 eggs over easy with toast, home fries, and sausage. We also enjoyed a delectable Gyro omelette with toast and home fries, delish! Thank You Olympia Dinner!!!!

I came because I read an article that this 1954 icon might get sold to build some fast food place. Classic diner needs to be remembered. Original chrome, booth, counter and great food. I wanted to go before it gets bulldozed. No regrets about my visits.

This diner was really good, bordering on fantastic. It was a true retro dining experience straight from the 1950s.

There is counter and booth seating in the main part of the diner, in addition to the dining room attached to the back.

I went in wanting a burger, but got sidetracked with a Ruben. I do not regret my decision. My only disappointment was that the milkshake didn’t have any whipped cream on top. That would have been the bee’s knees: just simply swell.

The Olymia is conveniently located on the Berlin Turnpike, if that’s someplace that’s convenient to where you are. If it isn’t, than it isn’t.

For dessert, I enjoyed the mud pie. I’m not sure how authentic it was, but it was pretty tasty.

I could wax poeticly on how eating here transported me through time to a time when the future was less chaotic, but that wouldn’t be necessarily what you’re looking for in a review. What I will say is that I enjoyed my meal despite how my lactose intolerance reacted to that delicious milkshake I enjoyed. Mind you, I knew I would suffer for having it, but as I came here to relive memories from over two decades prior, it was well worth the sacrifice to my night’s well-being.
