Very disappointed with my experience at this Chipotle. At 4:45 PM—during a busy dinner rush—there was no cashier available, and the store was only accepting online orders. This was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient for anyone trying to walk in and order food.
I placed an online order for just a large chips and queso, something that normally takes 5 minutes. Instead, I waited over 45 minutes to receive it. The lack of front-line service clearly delayed everything and made a simple order unnecessarily frustrating.
On top of that, the location was not clean—there was food scattered on counters and the floor. Even more concerning, I saw multiple employees handling food without gloves and switching between different meats and ingredients without changing gloves. That’s a major sanitation and cross-contamination issue, and it made me seriously question the safety of the food being served.
This was one of the worst Chipotle visits I’ve had. If this location wants to keep its customers, basic cleanliness and proper staffing during peak hours should be a priority.
Edit: Chipolte management said the same thing last time a negative review was left, “please contact us herr so we can help”. So, we followed the link they provided, and received even worse customer service–the person who responded to us via email had no interest in our complaints and suggested we go elsewhere, lol, why even provide the link? Optics? Make it look like you care?
Read down to ‘Skylar’, her review is EXACT same thing that will happen, you’ll contact them via the link and theyll ghost you. I even tried higher ups in the company, local area managers, regional, directors of quality control and even marketing, not ONE of them cared about the multiple bad experiences and the consistently poor service. I told them to just go look at the reviews, (here and dearborn heights), you only need to read handful and you can see there is a very serious problem going on. Again, no one cared.
You used to be a great place to visit for healthier options, but now you are off my list

I asked his name if i remember right it was Jeremiah. After he cleared the line he got right back to grilling i felt bad for him but 10/10 service. The main problem i have noticed with this location is management i notice that managers where collared shirts and its too bad that Jeremiah didn’t have one i worked in a kitchen so i know its stressful but this worker handled everything really well!!
