I had an excellent dining experience at Toto’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in San Bruno. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. We tried the Margherita Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, Lasagna, Chicken Alfredo, and Garlic Knots, and every dish was flavorful, freshly prepared, and generously portioned. The pizzas had a perfectly crisp crust with fresh toppings, and the pasta dishes were creamy and well-seasoned. Service was attentive and efficient, ensuring our meal arrived on time and exactly as requested. The restaurant’s cozy setting makes it perfect for families, friends, or casual date nights. Overall, Toto’s combines delicious Italian comfort food, excellent service, and a welcoming environment, making it a standout spot for anyone craving pizza or classic Italian cuisine in San Bruno.

I heard from my friend that this restaurant should be over 50 years old, but I think it’s really not easy for a restaurant to survive for such a long time and I should give it a try.

We ordered Extra large.

It’s actually a pretty delicious pizza. It may not have any special features, but the crust is not too thick but the edges are crispy and the topping is generous.

I can only complained that there is not enough cheese. I will add more cheese next time.

I grew up eating Toto’s Pizza back when their big Daly City location was still around, before the BART expansion forced it to close. That place was a huge part of my childhood and a real family tradition for us.

Even after Daly City shut down, Toto’s stayed a constant in our lives. The San Bruno location has been our go‑to for years, and the quality has never changed. The sauce, the crust, the whole experience still feels like the classic Toto’s we grew up with. We also visit their Belmont location, and it’s great to see the brand still thriving in the Bay Area.

Now we’re passing the tradition on to the next generation, and it’s amazing to see them love it just as much as we did. Toto’s isn’t just great pizza for us. It’s family history.

One of my favorite spots for pizza! I’ve gone to their old location in Daly City years ago and their San Bruno location brought back a lot of fond memories.

Their pizzas have a generous amount of toppings compared to some places that skimp out on their meat toppings. Toto’s isn’t part of that trend. They still make delicious, topping packed pizzas!!

We ordered a small pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza which was more than enough for the two of us.

We next ordered the ravioli. It was delicious as well! The ravioli were filled with meat and were complimented nicely with their marinara sauce. I’m going to give their spinach ravioli a try next time for sure!

Finally, we ordered their Ceasar salad. The lettuce was crisp and the dressing was spread throughout the entire salad which was a bonus.

Eat here. Totos does some things I don’t see very often. It uses fresh pinched sausage meat that cooks on the pie, not pre-cooked. It also uses high fat mozzarella slices (see pic) rather than shredded. The ingredients were excellent.
Note that I’m not a big crust guy, I usually don’t eat much crust as it tends to be calories without a ton of taste. Totos is an exception but there’s a key step here. Order a side of their sauce. It is delicious Italian chunky tomato with a hint of basil and when I walked in I noticed some locals with a bowl, so I followed their lead. The pie itself is on the lighter side when it comes to sauce and I like it saucey but the better move is to get a side so you dip the crust. It’s a buttery, flaky slight croissant crust without being overly greasy and was exceptional.
Now here’s the strange bit. This place isn’t a restaurant, it’s a pizza joint, so the atmosphere is dated and basic, no wait staff,etc.. but the counter help was friendly and obliging. The strange bit is this isn’t New York thing orange grease late night delicious NOR is it Chicago deep dish.

Rather, it is one of the only places that is happily in the middle, dense enough mouth feel and hearty enough with very generous ingredients, it’s about half the weight of Chi deep or double the weight of NY cracker thing crust. That in turn makes it an excellent choice for a meal. They don’t do slices, everything is fresh, so expect a 14 inch personal pizza with 3 ingredients to run about $28. Pricey for lunch but easily two meals or lunch for 2 people so per person it’s $14 and it is excellent so long as you read the above and aren’t expecting NY or Chicago, but taste and value wise it’s 5 stars. Food wise, it’s top of the mid-weight pizza class of pies.

I will be back and if you haven’t been, it’s a must try. They cook to order in terms of doneness and sauce.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. They have pizzas that fit for everyone’s taste, fresh made pizzas, oven baked sandwiches, salads, etc. I usually come in with friends for a pizza which is made from scratch and that’s definitely a plus. Sometimes there can be a wait usually during weekends and for the dinner rush, but I don’t mind at all because I have high patience. They do offer dine in which is on a first come first serve basis. I recommend this place for all pizza lovers, if you want something for a party, gathering or just if you so happen to be in the area. I definitely will be back to tryout their other delicious options they have to offer.

This is my go to pizza spot and they have the best pizzas in town. I love their #5. Their pizza is amazing because they have a good crust and a nice cheese pull. It is piping hot when served as it should be. You get very big slices of pizza and a generous amount of toppings. You get what you pay for and I would go here at least twice a month after school for a nice meal. They have two TVs in here with sports playing on them. Nice little touch with entertainment while we eat our piping hot pizza. Sometimes I come here to eat pizza and watch some Giants baseball.

Toto’s is a number one old school place to get great hand made pizza. When you walk in the door the smells you get are awesome. The pizza is their best seller. They also have pasta, salads, beer & sodas. Great customer service. The restaurant is not very big there is a tv to watch a sports game. The restaurant is ADA. There is street parking & a parking lot in back.
