I chose this place based on their menu and proximity to where I was parked. I am very pleased by the taste of the food and the quality of the ingredients!!! The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I ordered the fried grouper and the bread pudding. Very impressed with the batter on the grouper and the grouper was pleasantly seasoned to perfection! If you are in the Pensacola Beach area stop by here and enjoy some of the most flavor filled food!!!
I have leftovers to enjoy in the morning!!!! Okay, to be honest, I also order the hush puppies as a side order as well!!! They were delicious!!!!!

This is our go-to beach restaurant because the food and service are always consistently top notch! Went for brunch today and enjoyed everything. Bonus—we can come by water and watch NFL football while looking out over the Gulf! The only downside is oysters are not available till 1:00pm on brunch day

I can’t say enough positive things about this place. From the staff, waitresses, cooks, buss boy and on down to the bartenders. This place was hands down a favorite spot for me. My gumbo was amazing!! Ty! We will be returning every chance I get to come to Pensacola…

This was our favorite place in Pensacola. We were skeptical about going at first, my husband is from Louisiana and judges SO HARD but we both loved it. We went three times during our week stay. The po boy was delightful, their gumbo and jambalaya did not disappoint. The beignets were as good as the ones in New Orleans. Not only was the food amazing, it comes with a view of the bay. We loved it here.

We have eaten at this restaurant over the last few years and it’s always been good however, I’m not sure what has changed, but tonight was seriously bad!!! Starting with our oysters, Rockefeller that were burned!!! A hamburger That was supposed to be medium was also burnt. The rice in the jambalaya was not cooked, and lastly, we found a blonde curly hair in the quarter piece of muffaletta

Very very disappointed and will not be back again

GREAT food! Fresh seafood and cajun/creole cuisine. I’ve spent plenty of time in New Orleans and surrounding areas, and this place is as close to it without being there. I got the creole sample of bowls of gumbo, red beans and rice with andouille sausage, and crawfish etouffee, and all three were outstanding. Very authentic. You order at a counter near the entrance and they bring you the food. This is a no frills place, so don’t expect fancy glasses, plates, or silverware, but they have GREAT food and outstanding service. The food comes out pretty quickly, too, within 10 minutes or so of ordering. Our entire family enjoyed our meals. They have gluten-free options, too. While all the other restaurants were packed with a long wait, this place was busy, but you don’t have to wait. The outdoor views are wonderful, too. Portions were ample, and prices were great, in fact I think they could charge more and still be worth it. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will definitely come again.

Only one knock: my wife has a gluten intolerance and has to eat gluten-free all the time. They do have gluten-free options, and she ordered GF, but they made a mistake and served her fries that were not GF, and she didn’t order fries either, rather broccoli instead.

Food is the highlight here! Great shrimp and the Etoufee was delicious!
Inside is on the small side but has outdoor sitting facing the deck that compensates. Not many engaging employees to help know the process to order, but those there were nice to talk with.

Excellent place to eat at any time. They run specials during the off season . Monday was red beans and rice with a fried chicken breast . If you don’t want the chicken you can substitute it for fish . Cost was $10.99 which is a great price anywhere but particularly on Pensacola Beach ! During this time of the year they normally have specials Monday through Friday that run from 11:am to 3:00 pm . The special changes daily . That is what is posted but ask for the lunch special after 3:00pm and sometimes if they still have the food they will give it to you.

Only draw back and it is small is the metal chairs / stools outside are uncomfortable.
If you plan to stay and enjoy your meal and “sit awhile “ you might consider eating inside .

The food normally comes out fast and the service is always great.

It is September so the crowds are gone making it easy to find a table on the covered deck and inside if that is your preference .

Went for happy hour, left a bit hungry from portion sizes—the food was good and the oysters held quality. The Shock Top was out and the patio music was not good unfortunately.
