We went today February 13th for Valentine’s and Anniversary date. There were plenty of tables and several servers but we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. There were probably 10 to 12 people waiting right inside the door. The Asst. Manager came from the kitchen and started seating people. There was a large birthday party and I guess that is what had the kitchen behind. But Tiara, the bartender, was great!! She was waiting on and serving the tables in the bar area like a Queen! Food was just ok. But she was great!

I cant lie, this location has gotten way better. We always go for lunch and the servers are always super nice. The burgers are great and I tried the bourbon street chicken and it was so good. Also nice to see the manager going around checking on people. You don’t see that often anymore.

There is a specific kind of melancholy found in a Decatur Applebee’s—a place that feels like it’s been losing a slow war with gravity for a decade. The room is tired, the bones of the building are weary, and the overall vibe is ‘neglected roadside attraction.’
Yet, against all odds, the humans in the trenches—the servers—were excellent. They are the unsung heroes here, moving with a grace the dining room doesn’t deserve.
We started with the Spinach and Artichoke dip. It’s a predictable classic, though the chips are always a heartbreak—translucent, fragile little things that snap under the weight of a decent scoop. Then came the cheeseburger specials. You know the ones. They’re honest, they’re salty, and they’re exactly what you want when you’re not looking for a culinary epiphany. My wife opted for the Backyard Berry Lemonade; it was an aggressive sweet-and-sour punch that she actually enjoyed, though it arrived buried under a glacier of ice.
But then, there’s the crime scene at the front door.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a full To-Go order that had been unceremoniously dumped onto the floor near the hostess stand. It wasn’t just a spill; it was a monument to indifference. We sat, we ate, we paid, and we walked back out past that same pile of discarded franchise hopes. It was still there, untouched, a reminder that while the kitchen might still have its heart in it, the management has clearly left the building.
Go for the burgers and the hard-working staff. Just watch your step on the way in.”

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Applebee’s! From start to finish, everything was perfect — warm atmosphere, delicious food, and truly world-class service.
A huge shout-out to Restaurant Manager Mr.Carlton, whose personal touch made all the difference. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right, checked on every detail, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. It’s rare these days to see that level of pride and professionalism, and it really showed.

As my lips touched the creamy, cheesy, chewy, seasoned chicken parmesan that I had ordered thru Uber Eats, I knew I had to find the man with such delicate hands that could create such intricate art pieces that we take for granted every day.
The meal is absolutely fantastic, and I wish god himself could eat this.
I am not a homosexual, but I would love to take you on a date and treat you with love and respect, because a man who could create such a masterpiece needs be treated like the king that he is.

This place is like 25 mins from my job. I have been here a couple of times they have messed up my food 2 or 3 times. Today was the last straw won’t be back. I brought a chicken sandwich there was NO BACON (and that was extra $ vs getting the other chicken sandwich w/o bacon) NO CHEDDAR
ranch looked like butter not sure if it was ranch or not …wilted lettuce. I am very disappointed. The best thing out my order was the broccoli.

Took forever to get service and we were ready to walk out until Yolanda showed up to assess st after we asked mgr for a server twice! Yolanda was extremely nice, great personality and willing to step right up while we watched other employees just “hanging out” Thank you Yolanda!

I got the salmon plate with mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans were delicious and I wish I had gotten double sides of those instead of the potatoes. The potatoes were a bit cold and pasty in texture.
We sat at a high top in the bar area and our waitress was the bartender. There were several people at the bar but overall the restaurant was relatively empty but probably normally for a Monday night.
