Always a safe bet on some good tasting BBQ. Not the fanciest, their rolls used to better, now they are square, hard, dry and dusty bread. But if you want some protein it’s a close place for the taste and price.

. I stopped for lunch at Dickeys BBQ today and was very glad that I did. The food was freshly prepared and was served quickly. Brisket, beans, potato salad was delicious and the portions on the two meat como plate was enough for two or three meals. The customer service was top notch and that is always a good thing. Demarcus and staff were professional, friendly and efficient .Stopping by Dickeys felt like dropping by an old friends house for lunch and I will return soon.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit offered a solid overall experience with very fair pricing and generous portion sizes, making it feel like good value for the money. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, which immediately set a positive tone. The okra stood out as a highlight, it was clearly freshly made and had a great texture and flavor. The beans, however, were a bit underwhelming and could benefit from more seasoning or depth, especially compared to the rest of the meal. The BBQ sauce was excellent and helped elevate everything on the plate, though it really felt like the meal was missing a piece of classic Texas toast to round it out properly. Walking in at noon on a Sunday and seeing the place completely empty was a little concerning at first, but the food itself didn’t reflect that at all. Despite a couple of minor shortcomings, the overall experience was very enjoyable, and it ended up being much better than expected.

Not overly impressed. No service until I spoke first. $10 for lunch special “loaded” baked potato which was a plain baked potato with maybe 2-3oz of chopped brisket! Other condiments available in little plastic cups if you wanted butter sour cream and onions? Not worth $10!

Everything was bomb and they were so nice! The buttery bun and toasted sandwich was a pretty nice size. Ribs were tender like falling off the bone frfr plenty sauce plenty meat!
Mac and cheese was so creamy and them baked beans were tasty! It was a 10/10 for me today! Mixed that lemonade sweet tea and fruit punch ( don’t knock it til l you try it ) Definitely need to go here.

My only complaint is that I feel I I paid too much for too little and the quality was really disappointing. Maybe it’s because I came in later in the afternoon (7:30pm) but the brisket and chicken were underwhelming.
The fries and okra are the best part of the meal. I wouldn’t visit again until they lower the prices or learn how to cook a brisket more consistently.

Delicious, fast, surprisingly good! Thank you Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. <3. We passed by it on the way to the post office and decided to give it a try. We were here for lunder (lunch-dinner) so it wasn’t too busy. The brisket and sausage were scrumptious as well as the sides. The chicken was delicious with or without the BBQ sauce—they got the marinade right! For sides we had fried okra, steak fries, Mac & cheese, and baked potato casserole. Sweet tea hit the spot also.

I cannot encourage people to come here enough. My parents and I were wandering around on Thanksgiving post-football. Nowhere in mind and nothing open. We knocked on the door not realizing that Dickey’s was also closed, the staff were having their own celebration. We apologized for interrupting and started to leave, only for them to welcome us with open arms. And if they food they serve here is half as good as what they brought in… you are in for a treat. But I really cannot emphasize enough how overwhelmed we were by the charity of total strangers, and how thankful we were. It is a memory that will stick with us for the rest of our lives. Ray, thank you for everything brother. My dad is still thinking about that cheesecake
