Cute little cafe. With all the wonderful reviews I wanted to check out the place on my travels. It was average and what you’d expect from a cafe. Nothing was a stand out for me. Staff were really nice.

The owner is very charismatic and passionate about his establishment. The pride in quality and atmosphere is very obvious when you step foot in the Cafe. They have delicious meals, sweets and of course, coffee! The cold brew, iced coffee and lattes are all wonderful and the sandwiches are all great too.

This place might often get overlooked because of the location but it is perfectly hidden right beside the gaslight district! A wonderful little stop if you want a cozy atmosphere and a delicious treat!

Very good experience! The owner was super attentive. It was my first time there, and he recommended one of his pizzas and a coffee. The food was delicious, and the coffee was amazing — he even gave me a croissant for free! Highly recommended!

One of the best places I’ve been! Greg is an outstanding owner who takes pride in his work. He hosted our large group after hours and everyone enjoyed their dinner and whole experience. Greg even offered a little coffee knowledge moment with some of us and showed us that they roast their own high quality beans. Definitely will go back because there are so many things I want to try. I picked up a bag of their Brazilian coffee beans, and I was really impressed. The owner kindly took the time to explain their coffee in detail, which I appreciated. The beans are uniform in size and roast, with no defects or burnt ones in the mix. At home, I use an Italian espresso machine with a dedicated grinder, and from the very first shot I could tell the beans were fresh—delivering a clean, well-balanced taste. I’m brewing with a naked portafilter and 58mm baskets, which aren’t very forgiving, yet the results have been consistently excellent.

2 days ago my wife & I did Java Jax’s for breakfast! Wow! Such a delight, the best coffee- roasted and prepared exactly as we like it. Even purchased 5# bag of roasted Brazilian Coffee beans. We both had the croissant with grilled egg, with mozzarella and tomatoes and loads of beacon- every bite was delicious. Also purchased the huge blueberry muffins for home.
The Owner and Staff added spirit and provided such fun hospitality.
Alright planning next visit but taking friends!

What a great little gem in Cambridge. The owner and staff were very accommodating to our private event . The lasagna was well proportioned and delicious .
