I don’t think to write reviews every day but our experience at Skyline on Friday was so exceptional that I needed to do it today. Huge family Skyline fans for over 40 years. Devastated when our Lyndhurst location closed a few years back. We had celebrated countless birthdays and anniversaries there- including my parents 30th. Now we make the drive to Stow when we can. The food is always 10/10- consistently delicious as always. But it was the service that made me sit down to write this. Our waitress remembered every detail of our party of 8 order and was quick and precise and made sure the kids got kids cups. When we were leaving we were taking a picture and a wonderfully kind man came from behind the counter to insist we all get in the picture which he took for us. He then sent the little kids away with super cool Skyline sunglasses. It is so incredibly rare to receive a good product when dining out these days and even more rare to find good service. The kindness and service here blew us away. So above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Skyline for being our celebration spot for life!!!

Cincinnati chili was a staple of my childhood. My mother would make it on occasion from a packet and it was always one of my favorite dinners. Now as a 40-year old adult, this Skyline Chili is a lone bastion of hope for people in our area since all of the other locations have disappeared over the last 20 years. I’ve never had a bad meal here and the service is excellent. The kitchen is as efficient as it can be and orders usually come out to you in 5 minutes. I come here as often as I can given that it’s 30 minutes away and it always warms my heart to see it frequently busy. I strongly recommend the cheese coney dogs!

I’ve been to Skyline more times than I can count. Lived in the Greater Cincinnati area for a while. So it’s really nice to be able to still enjoy it in the Summit County/Greater Akron area now.
Had the Chilito w/ Sour Cream, 5 Way, and a Coney tonight, all with the Extreme Cheese.. Can’t beat it. So good!

This time I got a 5-way inverted (the cheese is on the bottom). Then I got 6 cheese coneys and a root beer float to finish things off. Ony Skyline left in NE Ohio and worth the drive.
The staff was very friendly and attentive.

This is now the only location in N.E. Ohio now which is sad.
If you’ve never been to Skyline, it’s a different chili than what you’re used to probably. Most first timers either love it or hate it. It’s bean less, tomato less but darn tasty. It’s hard to describe. You’ll have to try it and see.
The restaurant was clean. The food was quick and excellent!
I had a 4 Way bean and a cheese Coney. My wife had a 3 Way.
Since I love and enjoy Skyline, it was
worth the drive from Cleveland areas.
*Update March 2025. Met an old friend for a late lunch. There was a flow of customers, but nothing super busy. Service was it’s usual greatness. Food was excellent, of course!
*Update August 2025. My dad was visiting from Colorado so we had to have our Skyline!!! Nothing beats my 4-way bean! Service was still it’s usual greatness. Great staff, great good, great time!

great staff here and very popular location. its directly accessible by car or bobtail only. dvrs with a trailer “park in culdisac & walk up” per mngr. “otherwise its a four am til cars are gone” ya… i would agree its tight and lots of stuff available within a block… def a good place to do a 34hr reset.

Ive been hearing about this place for years, so was thrilled to try it. I absolutely loved the habanero cheese on the coney dogs. I ended up getting another so much. I ended up going with classic cheese on the spaghetti to go for the classic but wish I would have went with the habanero cheese. Overall, it was really good, though I preferred the coney dogs. Our server also rocked it, she was great
