An amazing family owned experience! A wonderful place to take the family to eat. Every time I get something new and I’m always surprised by the quality and amazing taste!! The environment is also super unique and fun. I definitely recommend it. I usually get the club wrap or peanut butter bacon burger (I know it sounds weird, just try it), and the kids get the kids macaroni. And each kid gets a free cookie to decorate. The fries are also the best I’ve ever had!!!

Very good place to sit down and enjoy something different and delicious. I had the breakfast burrito with sausage gravy and green chili. Stuffed! The wife had the chicken fried chicken. She loved it. We also got an appetizer that consisted of wild boar, rattlesnake & rabbit, and the mountain man brats. The owner said the mountain man was made up of everything you ran over on the way there. All were very good. Not gamey. Restaurant was very clean and had a family style atmosphere throughout. Excellent experience overall. We will return to try out some of the other interesting items we saw on the menu.

What an excellent find. Huge, interesting and varied menu. Super friendly staff, Full bar, good margarita. I had a gyro and the sauce was authentic, fresh and delicious. It was very good. My compaanions had philly cheessteak and shrimp tacos – they enjoyed their meals very much. It is a hole in the wall sorta place, I didn’t know what to expect and boy was I pleasantly surprised. We will be back – love finding gems like this!!

Absolutely amazing flavors and service! The pickle spears were perfecto and the chips n queso were the best we’ve ever had. What a great variety of menu choices and they’re ALL SO GOOD!!

I decided to try this place as it’s close to my home. The restaurant had good reviews and a lot of them so we gave it a go. We were seated immediately, the staff was very , very accommodating, kind and the food was very delicious. The French fries that they served were the best I’ve ever had. I cannot wait to try this place again. The only thing slightly negative I can say is, someone else had posted pictures of the menu with prices and the updated menus prices are about a dollar more expensive but , they seemed to have more food options. My son got the mountain man braut, I got a green chili burger, my daughter got a quesadilla and my husband got a jalapeno burger. All were excellent.

This is the heart of comfort food with some of the kindest people. I think this is my favorite gravy of all time. Wife and I split a soup and a main course and was just right for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended! Cute elves and salt/pepper shakers everywhere.

Excellent food and fresh! Service has been exemplary on every visit. plenty of comfortable seating, big parking lot and a beautiful view from the front door. A wonderful addition to the tri-town area in Carbon Valley.
Update; 6 months later and they are going strong. I’ve never had a bad meal or bad experience! I absolutely love the waffles! The brats are a real treat at lunch. Try them with Cream Cheese And Carmelized Onions! The Meatloaf is just like Mom’s.

Surprising, little “hole in the wall”. Inside, the walls are decorated and look well maintained, and modern. Everybody in our party enjoyed the food, and the service was great. In my opinion, the regular fries need some work; maybe it’s what they fry them in. I would probably come back when I am in the area again.

My husband and I came in on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. We loved the small diner atmosphere and all of the elf’s on the wall! I got the fish sandwich and my husband got the chicken fried chicken. We were both very happy with our food! The fish sandwich came out hot and crispy, and the fries were DELICIOUS. The staff was extremely friendly and we felt very welcomed. Can’t wait to come back!
