I tried pretty much all the Indian restaurants in Lima and they definitely have more unique dishes compared to other ones. But I went with the common items – Daal Makhani, Aloo Gobhi, Mango Lassi and breads. The ambiance is nice and they have bar services as well. On weekends, apparently they have dance performances in the evenings which is a unique touch. It can cost roughly 100-120 Soles for 2 persons for a meal here. The food tasted fine here. I liked Dal Makhani more here.

Love love love it! Went there a few times already and every plate I tried was a little trip to India Every plate is delicious but I would crazily recommend butter chicken, samosas and naan! These are masterpieces and I would only come here for those Service is fast and staff is very friendly. If you are not stuffed with delicious food I would also recommend their desert with apples (can never remember the name), it is very light and different.

We satisfied our craving for Indian food at Massala. Very conveniently located near Miraflores cliff area, 10 mins, walk from the Navy lighthouse. The food was good, especially the chapatis were fresh and delicious. I had this place in mind for many months while planning Lima tour and wasn’t disappointed. Thank you, Massala!

Really friendly service, and I liked the ambiance and decor inside. The food was ok (perhaps just the curry dish I had), though not fantastic. The cocktail was tasty though!

Indian Restaurent with authentic taste of Indian food.

Ambience is good. Service is good. But tables are small, it is difficult to accommodate plates on table.

Food taste, quality and Quantity is value for money.

Kasturi chicken, Chicken 65 starters are recommended.

Food wasn’t the best. Didn’t have the classic Indian taste. Chicken tikka masala was salty and not spicy at all. The samosas were good but the classic samosas are filled with potato and no chicken. Mango lassi was good. Overall rating 5/10. I’m sure there are other better Indian restaurants in Lima, but this was not it.
If you go to Cusco, you must go to Taste of India. The food there is amazing!

This Indian restaurant offers quite a variety of dishes.
I chose the Thali, but from the taste, I felt it wasn’t very authentic. The food is a mix of Peruvian and Indian flavors, and nothing particularly stands out.
The prices are reasonable, not too expensive. The staff is friendly, and the place is clean. It’s conveniently located in the center, making it easy to find.

We were really craving Indian food after a week of traveling in Peru, and decided to try Massala on our last day—and it ended up being the best meal of our entire trip. The ambience was cozy and welcoming, the food was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every single dish.

What truly made the experience special was the warm hospitality of the host, Mr. Ravi, who made us feel completely at home and took such thoughtful care of us.

We’re heading back with wonderful memories and a lot of gratitude.

Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and a genuinely lovely experience.

As an Indian who has tried Indian food in several countries outside of India, this might be the least authentic experience I have had.

The chai did not have any spices, and was not flavorful at all. It was served in a big cup and tasted like teabag black tea – I would recommend reducing the cup size to half and make it a bit stronger with at least cardamom and ginger as spices, to make it more authentic.

The Goan fish curry did not have much flavor – it tasted like a simple daal, not spiced properly. The fish itself was cooked really nice but the curry was disappointing. The jeera rice that we got as a side had the cumin burned to a crisp (see photo).

The only highlight for me were the chapatis which were fluffy and pretty authentic. The seekh kebabs and lassi were ok.

In my opinion, the high pricing for the food is not justified – there are other Indian restaurants in Miraflores that I found better in taste and overall bang for the buck.
