I had a good overall experience at Wicked Wolf. The vibe was definitely there — the music was lit and the playlist was solid from start to finish. It gave the perfect brunch/day-party energy without being overwhelming.
Food-wise, it was just okay overall. The salmon came out a little on the dry side, and the grits could’ve used more seasoning and flavor. However, the egg rolls were solid and well-executed. The pancakes were the real standout — super soft, fluffy, and genuinely tasty.
Now the drinks? Yes, yes, yes. They definitely understood the assignment on cocktails.
Shoutout to our servers, Jas and Lexy — both were beautiful, kind, attentive, and delivered great customer service. They truly elevated the experience.
Would I go back? Yes. I’d definitely return to try other menu items because the atmosphere, drinks, and service make it worth another visit.
Reservations are highly recommended especially for groups. We had a 2pm reservation and a 2 hour limit which more than enough time. We were celebrating a friend’s 40th and she had a time. Drinks and shots were flowing but we’re delayed at times.
Food was just mediocre at best. The best items seemed to be th3 salad ironically. Fresh toast sticks and salmon egg rolls were basic and lacked seasoning.
It’s a large space with indoor and outdoor seating so great for large groups.
Would definitely come back but be more selective with my food options.
On Sunday! It was the perfect vibe. Good DJs, our waitress was super energetic and attentive, and sports (football) on the big screen! Food came out super fast. All was fresh with good portions! There is a brunch menu and regular menu! I ordered off regular menu. I had the salmon egg rolls and the fried brussels sprouts. I also had bottomless mimosas with several juice options. They even had a surprising “shot, shot” performance! Wicked Wolf came out…dancing on the chairs…confetti! Lasted about 5-8 minutes…enough but not annoying! There’s also a photographer that comes around and takes pictures of your table. The pictures are nice. They print them out and they charge you an additional fee but I guess you don’t have to buy them but of course they end up looking so nice and you want to capture the memory that you end up purchasing one anyways! It wasn’t too wild while we were there but I’ve heard it can get loose in there. We were there from 11:45 until 2!
Additional issues included:
•Coal refills that never came
•Side condiments that were requested but never delivered
•Over a 30-minute wait for food despite only six tables being seated upstairs
•Poor communication between the server and the kitchen
It was also very uncomfortable to hear our server openly say that she “hates working upstairs.” Regardless of seating location, every guest should receive the same level of service and energy. When the check finally came, I clearly stated that the bill needed to be split into three separate checks for three couples. Despite this, my husband and I were incorrectly combined on two tickets, adding yet another issue to an already frustrating experience. The only highlight of the visit was the Wolf character coming upstairs with shots. That moment briefly reflected the experience Wicked Wolf advertises online.
Here is why:
$15 Entry Fee ($30)
4% RESTAURANT FEE(of your TOTAL cost)
20% Automatic Service Fee + Suggested Gratuity w/2hr time limit told to us up front, ALL before you even blink.
Then, the disrespectful, sizes for drinks.
Pricey Mixed Drinks come in 8oz cups.
1 oz shots come in 0.8 oz cups w/ROOM in it and purposefully cost 1/3 of the bottle that comes in. You read that right. They’ve adopted the horrible habbit of making a simple shot cost MORE than a mixed drink with the same liquor in it. And that’s just for the HOUSE liquor, no premium.
They randomly brought out two plates of mixed 0.8 oz shots to give to everyone, yet they only gave it to those tables that were closest to the DJ and a select few. My guest and I saw them walk past us, give it to those directly under the light in the middle, and all we received was confetti on our cups that they let out of the ceiling when they were giving out shots.
Food was good. Server was very pleasant.
The experience was pretentious. I see why the fun & wonderful Rreal Tacos are popping up everywhere because business models like this, are truly wicked and need to go.
