Nice Mexican restaurant in Rosemont. Parking was a little tricky going up a small hill. Service was decent. Food was bland for me. Even the tortillas and salsa was average. Tables and chairs are not meant for hanging out for a while. Interiors are without much character, seem to showcase their own locations.

I just left Cilantro in Rosemont and I am beyond disappointed. I spent over $40 (and even left a tip!) only to receive tacos that had barely any meat and a tiny handful of chips that looked like a sampler, not a full order. The portions were honestly insulting for the price.
If you’re going to charge restaurant-level prices, at least serve a meal that feels complete. The quality might have been fine, but the lack of substance and value completely ruined the experience. I shouldn’t have to squint to find the filling in my tacos after paying this much.
I took photos because this was ridiculous—people deserve to know what they’re actually getting for their money. This was my first visit, and unfortunately, it’ll also be my last.

Very nice establishment but the steak came out dry. The tortillas were barely heated up but the staff was friendly. They have a sauce station where you can dress your tacos up. I ordered 3 steak tacos with rice and beans.

I went to cilantro today in Rosemont Illinois. I’ve been there multiple times there was this one girl with the really stink attitude. She had black hair and I couldn’t understand what she was saying because she was whispering. I was speaking to her in Spanish as well and she was so scared to tell me that I cannot eat in there, even though there was two people eating there and it was 9 o’clock exact on the dot I walked in at 8:58 PM. They close at 10 PM I ordered food at nine to sit in and dine in with my family and she’s telling me as I’m ordering you can’t eat here and I didn’t understand what she was saying I was like what are you saying And then I finally understood what she was saying and it made no sense because there was two people eating there? Why can’t I dine in the door says it closes at 10 it’s 9 o’clock. That makes no sense. I’ve never gotten into that anywhere in my life before mind you there was a man that came in after me after I decide to leave and not order anything. There was a man who was ordering, and he had walked there, and they look like the girl was staring out the window to see if I would see that she will let him eat there. I don’t know if they don’t wanna clean up or they’re too lazy to clean, but that makes no sense. Why can’t I eat there? There was literally a worker eating there and another guy eating there sitting down, but the customers can’t eat that’s ridiculous and so unprofessional don’t go to the cilantro.

The food was tasty.
I was able to sit and do a little work, while waiting for my flight ✈️ at 5pm, as I missed the 6 am flight ✈️…but that’s another story .
