I ordered delivery from Doordash – the original chicken sandwich, the pickle spears, and golden fries.
I thought the fries were fantastic! Very tasty and cooked well. Natural fries and I chose the garlic aoli. I wish you could have a few other types of dips without paying extra though.
The pickle spears were so large—I was expecting smaller spears, but these were thick and you get about four of them. A little pricy, but there was a special online with Doordash so I saved $5 by adding them to my order. The sauce was spicy but flavorful.
The chicken sandwich was fine. I think Popeye’s chicken sandwich is much better…but this one was thick and juicy and tasted just fine. I would definitely get this again and may try a different type of sandwich.
The entire order was fulfilled perfectly and nothing was missing. Service was great.

The fried pickles are a must have! Anytime I go to any restaurant that has it on the menu, I have to order. Definitely try them with the dill ranch. It’s a whole pickle slice, tastes like a claussen pickle. The fries can be better, but they are fresh and not frozen. They look like they were sliced from real potatoes. I was a bit disappointed about the chicken sandwich. I’d have to rate it a 6/10. The first 2 bites were all crunch and sauce. The sauce has a slight spice to it, the chicken sandwich itself is very greasy. The buffalo chicken blue cheese sandwich, actually pair well together, but there’s hardly any chicken in the sandwich. Not for the price that I’ve paid for it.

The allure of a the hand painted sign offering “fried chicken” lured me in. Ordered the boneless chicken thighs which, initially, didn’t WOW me. Not too greasy but a hair over done. I didn’t finish the meal until later that day and surprisingly the flavor profile had dramatically changed for the better. The biscuit and cole slaw and chicken were okay good even cold. The greeter/server/bartender was pleasant and professional. I will return for burgers

Me and some friends came here for lunch and this place is absolute Gold you notice how I capitalized the g well that’s because it’s deserved baby. The total earned it. The cashier was helpful in describing the sandwiches and when my bacon jam chicken sandwich come out to the table I thought it was CM Punk’s next opponent!! Just a gigantic thing of beauty on a fresh bun and the beer cheese fries delivered like a mailman in inclement weather!! Great decor and music! Lucy’s isn’t a vibe it is the vibe!!

The service and food could not have been better! I’m so excited to go back! The chicken sandwich was outstanding! I tried the pulled pork and I don’t usually like pulled pork but that sandwich was so good! Even the sweet lemon tea was a nice treat with everything.

As a Chicago native, I think this is one of the top burger spots for a casual bite. I like the way they char the patty a bit and have fresh ingredients. Just be mindful if you are ordering grubhub/doordash because they use their own delivery people and the arrival times are never accurate. My food did arrive “late” by 30 min, however, the food was still warm upon arrival and there was no need to reheat even though it was 10° outside. I also really enjoyed their mac n cheese too!

I got a bacon double jam burger here with my sister, also got a Mac and cheese as a side. Really good and well cooked burger, inviting atmosphere and decent pricing.

I walked in to get some lunch and got the classic burger with cheese and bacon and a side of fried pickles. The burger was actually a double and was seasoned well. The burger was great, and definitely was more than enough to eat. One of the better-quality burgers I’ve had in the city. 8.9. The fried pickles were the winner for me, the pickles came with a sauce that blew me away. The sauce is underrated I would put this on the burger too…I’ve had my share of sauces for fried pickles but this is probably the best. 9.7. Overall is a dope little spot with classic music playing and they offer beers and alcohol too 9.2.

I’m a huge fan of the Bacon Jam Smash Burger. I like it with two patties and (of course) bacon. The whole thing comes together like an umami bomb going off in my mouth. A perfect combination of sweet and savory. If you’re on the fence about what to order, try it! And I like to get the fried pickles on the side; the pickles are still crispy, the breading is delicious and the sauce is spicy good.
