What an experience. I had misgivings coming at first as I felt I was under dressed and have had service at Italian restaurants commensurate with how I was dressed in the past. The service was equal throughout which truly impressed me. Additionally, the food was phenomenal. The calamari was cooked to perfection as it’s easy to overcook, yet the calamari was light and perfectly good. Based on how it tasted, it felt like it was dipped in a rice flour batter and fried in some sort of animal fat. The rare steak was perfectly tender. And the Satsuma Mandrin was the perfect dessert finish. The espresso martini was also a great finishing touch. The old fashion was standard but still very good. Great experience!

Loved the ambiance and interior. Every dish was plated beautifully and the cocktails were delicious. Our server did make a mistake with an order but was very kind and apologetic. Great service and experience – will definitely return.

My husband and I went here for his birthday and it was amazing! My husband had the Chef’s tasting menu which he found delicious and I had the rib eye which was also amazing! I started with the calamari which was fresh and super crispy and delicious. The drinks were also amazing! Our waiter, Julio, was the best. He was so knowledgeable about all the food and drinks and helped suggest the best things. I also did not expect to have such great views at this tucked away restaurant but it was beautiful! We definitely recommend and would go back!

Wonderful place, excellent food, and attention to detail puts this restaurant at another level. The steak Tartar was just perfect, smooth, melts in your mouth. The main courses were ribeye and Halibut. Both cooked to perfection. Our server, Hisham was gracious and engaging. Photos of other appetizers and dessert tell the story. The exterior landscape blends with the interior through the large windows. Koi ponds are a great feature. All in all, a must visit place.

This was honestly the first French restaurant I’ve tried where every single dish was spot on—no misses at all.
1️⃣ Appetizers
The Wagyu tartare was rich and meaty, not exactly refreshing but packed with flavor. The tomato gazpacho is a must-order: the little “tomato caviar” pearls give it an incredible texture, and the soup itself is both refreshing and full-bodied. Their oysters are small but delicious—on the saltier side, which I personally loved.
2️⃣ Mains
The lamb belly with bean purée was pure comfort food—super tender, flavorful, and not at all gamey. My favorite, though, was the lobster pasta. It had this rich, slightly tangy sauce with cheese and tomato that I couldn’t stop eating, even after I was full. The wild halibut was another highlight: perfectly crisp on the outside and paired with a mushroom-butter sauce that leaned creamy rather than overly buttery. It balanced beautifully with the lightness of the fish.
3️⃣ Desserts
Somehow, we ended up having five desserts instead of three! If you’re a chocolate lover, don’t skip the caramel s’more—rich chocolate cake wrapped in a crunchy shell, with graham feuilletine and toasted marshmallow underneath. The panna cotta was on the sweeter side, but the cranberry sorbet it came with was very tart—probably not my favorite combo. From the chef’s tasting menu, we had pistachio-chocolate profiteroles. The texture was great, but the pistachio ice cream wasn’t quite what I expected. Surprisingly, the standout for me was a honey ice cream with heavy spice notes—unexpected but so good.
4️⃣ Drinks
I ordered a Sunset Mule for my friend, and it turned out amazing—especially if you like lychee flavors. My own drink was just okay in comparison.
✨ Service and ambiance were both excellent. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out.
Average spend: around $130 per person.

This was my first time back since the pandemic, and it was just as delicious as I remembered. Our waiter was phenomenal – honestly, he should teach classes. He was personable, attention to detail, charming, thorough, and super knowledgeable about each plate on the menu. He was super attentive to my gluten-free needs and was able to adjust the menu without much effort.
The menu was creative and thoughtful. I had the tuna tartare appetizer & my husband had the Caesar salad – both were delicious. I had the lamb duo – the loin was perfectly cooked. My husband had the halibut – overall a good presentation and solid flavor. Our other guest had the lobster dish which was creative and flavorful.
The bartender presented our drinks and was also exceptional with his knowledge and personality.
Definitely continues to be one of the best restaurants in the area – highly recommend.

Lovely restaurant. The scenery outside the building is picturesque, and inside the restaurant is elegant and well designed. The service is perfect and the staff is so welcoming and energetic. And most importantly the food was top notch and expertly executed. The lobster tortellini was the star of the show, but everything else we had was so delicious. Wagyu was so good, but surprisingly the pomme puree served along with it was even more addictive. Would absolutely come back.

An anniversary trip to 2941 was a delight from the greeting we received to the souvenir menu we took home. A celebration-worthy restaurant doesn’t mean what it used to, and many places focusing on upscale food try to pair it with very casual service. Fair enough, but it is nice to visit a place that can still offer grace, charm, and old-fashioned professionalism. Our server was warm and attentive without being overbearing; aside from the very end of the meal, when an offer of coffee would have been nice, he was always nearby if we needed something. Cocktails were flavorful and imaginative, and the pre-meal bread basket was generous and fresh. The food was excellent, with simple preparations that allowed the fresh ingredients to shine, rather than trying to add caché with trendy flavors. Highlights included a very good Caesar salad (though I do miss the classic egg dressing, now all but gone at restaurants) with plenty of anchovy; lamb cooked to a perfect rare with nothing but a little salt on it; a butternut velouté that was creamy, delicate, and flavorful (though perhaps the enormous coconut “crouton” is a bit much); and a deconstructed bouillabaisse in which none of the seafood options were overcooked. The wine menu showed by-the-glass options only, but with a nice variety of region and grape. (I would guess bottles are available on request, but our entree choices matched with different wines anyway.) Desserts were the only disappointment: both the tasting menu and a la carte offerings could not tempt us, leaning a little too much on sorbet and gelato creations for February. (Does nobody serve a decent pudding anymore?) Luckily, the cheese menu rescued us, served with an excellent spread of bread, honey, and pecans. The sommelier made excellent suggestions for dessert wine pairings — and stepped in with a great substitution when one of them turned out to be a little too heavy on sediment. Atmosphere was surprisingly nice. The high ceilings and hotel-lobby layout seemed initially to threaten an echo chamber, but conversation was easy, with none of the usual need to raise our voices above the din of bad music or reverberating conversation. Overall, it is nice to have an option for an outstanding dinner without the forced intimacy of open kitchens or the overly casual “team service” style of table-waiting. Sometimes, you just want to go old school, and 2941 is able to deliver.

We’ve been coming here for 12 years and it never disappoints. Every special occasion we celebrate there becomes even more special because of the flawless service and incredible food. Our most recent visit was to celebrate my son’s 19th birthday and they simply knocked it out of the park. There is something to be said for a professional, old school server. It’s a dying art but it makes all the difference. We all chose the current Waygu centric tasting menu, and my wife and I did the wine pairing. Every bite was delicious, and the wine was perfectly chosen. That’s the best wine pairing I’ve had in a long long time. Anyway, this place is an institution… and for good reason. Excellent work 2941!

I celebrated my birthday here, which coincided with Valentine’s Day weekend, and enjoyed their special three-course Valentine’s Day menu. Although the restaurant is located in an office building, you’d never know it—the ambiance is sophisticated and modern, with elegant decor and striking artwork that enhances the atmosphere.
Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, featuring unique flavor combinations that blended beautifully. The meats were incredibly tender, melting in your mouth with every bite. The service was outstanding—our waiter provided detailed explanations of each dish, kept our water glasses full, and checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed.
The desserts were just as impressive as the entrées, both unique and delicious. This is definitely a spot I’ll be returning to. It’s perfect for an upscale date night and a truly memorable dining experience.
