It all started with a passion for real, made-from-scratch cooking in a food truck that traversed Manhattan and Brooklyn, embracing the vibrant culture of the city. Today, Mexicue has evolved into a restaurant — and lively bar scene — that does things a little differently than the other guys. A little more boldly, and with a lot more flavor and fun. We smoke, braise, char, pickle, juice, mash, grind and create — in a way that is inspired by the Mexican tradition, all with a twist of the American South. Mexicue is the ultimate place to unwind and dine — or order a round of tequila to take the night to the next level.
Mexican BBQ menus & cocktails combine at this lively, casual spin-off of a popular food truck.

It’s a really nice casual place with great views. There is outside seating, but I stayed inside due to the heat. Good thing is, you still have beautiful views from the inside. Staff was very friendly. Food was good. I had a BBQ rice bowl and my wife had the Pulled Pork Enchiladas which was very spicy

Family raved about this spot, I went on a Monday night and they had a gorgeous view on boardwalk. Margaritas were good, so was the street corn, had great crema. Tacos are on the pricier side but the flavor was great! My boyfriend had the quesadilla which came with rice and beans. We were disappointed when the rice came out crispy and overcooked, However they were apologetic and our waitress was sweet enough to get 10% off for the rice and beans. Overall positive just wish they had more options on the menu.

Gorgeous little restaurant on the water! My daughter and son-in-law raved about their tacos, and they didn’t disappoint! The loaded nachos were scrumptious, as was my brisket taco and the rice and beans! Service was professional, fast and friendly and the view was spectacular! Definitely recommend!

Waterfront appealing atmosphere with two levels and patio seating outdoors offered. It was my first time here and the weather, music and vibes were great. Ordered the Coconut Margarita and Hibiscus margaritas, both were delicious. The Hibiscus Margarita had better presentation. We all ordered several different tacos to split and share amongst our group. The tacos were so delicious and didn’t feel Americanized like most Mexican restaurants. I will definitely come back. Service was good! We parked in a pay-to-park lot. Looking out onto the water viewing the boats was perfect.

Decent food. I ordered a small chips and guac, the charred green chili quesadilla with chicken, and the grilled burrito with chicken. The flavors were okay — the cheese was a bit odd, very soft like American cheese, and didn’t have the best taste. Service was somewhat slow despite there being few customers. That said, I’d like to come back to try the tacos and give this place a second chance.

Amazing food, vibes, location and staff! The servers and bartenders are so welcoming and fun, the chefs pump out tasty food even when it’s busy. Beautiful view of the water in Stamford. Must try.

Decided to check out MEXiCUE, views are spectacular on nice days! My visit was really nice outside, not overly hot… tacos are really legit & super tasty. They are the real deal, cost more for the right ingredients. Super yummy vittles!

Had my birthday dinner here last night with 5 other people. The server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the spicy margarita, friends had a smoky marg, sangria, michelada, and another margaritas that I can’t remember…everyone enjoyed their drinks. We had the nachos, which looked like a hot mess but tasted fantastic! Then I had the brisket enchiladas (yum), hubby had a brisket bowl and said it was great..friends had the catfish and were surprised how good it was… honestly, everyone’s food was great, as well as the desserts. The only reason it didn’t get all 5 stars was that the atmosphere was quite loud and very tough to hear each other talk.. If you want to have conversations on a Saturday night, it’s a bit difficult. Other than that, we had a great time! Also, free parking was a plus. All in all, I highly recommend this place for good food and drinks.

It was a perfect evening, dining next to the harbor with a beautiful view of the sunset. This place was totally unexpected. Went on a recommendation and would now definitely recommend to others too.
Plenty of vegetarian options available. All the dishes we tried were delicious and refreshing. To name a few, seasonal herb taco, Taco salad, fajita Platos Feurtes are a must try. Service was a bit slow but food was worth the wait.
Thanks Ronald.

Mexicue is a fantastic spot for a vibrant dining experience. The Nachos, Fajitas, and Quesadillas were absolutely delicious, each packed with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. The Montauk Margarita was a standout, perfectly balancing refreshment and tang. Our server, Ronald, was attentive and added to the overall great experience. The ambience is lively yet cozy, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a flavorful meal. Overall, Mexicue is a must-try restaurant that hits the mark on food, drinks, and service!
