During our stay at Marco Polo Hotel in Gudauri in December 2025, we were really craving some authentic Indian food. That’s when we discovered Haweli Indian Restaurant truly a gem in the middle of Gudauri’s snowy desert!
From the very first interaction, the hospitality stood out. The food was absolutely delicious rich, flavorful, and just like home-cooked Indian meals. Every dish was prepared with such authenticity and warmth that it instantly made us feel at home despite being miles away.
A very special mention to Mr. Pinna, who is one of the staff manages the restaurant. He is an incredibly kind, humble, and genuine person. His welcoming nature made our dining experience even more memorable. What truly touched us was his willingness to go above and beyond — he even helped me retrieve my misplaced watch from the Marco Polo Hotel. That level of care and helpfulness is rare and deeply appreciated.
Thank you, Pinna & the restaurant owner, for your wonderful hospitality and for making our Gudauri trip even more special.

We have been twice to this restaurant, once for breakfast which was yesterday and today for lunch. We super loved the food. My daughter enjoyed the egg burji and paratha as well as we did. For lunch today we ordered Chicken Biryani and Daal taka- both were awesome and tasted really amazing. The place was just a bit busy today for lunch and the food took time but was worth the wait since the awesome food made up for that !! Definitely, going to remember Haveli as part of our Gudauri trip as well.

Lovely place for Indian food at Gudauri, Georgia. Mr. Praveen had taken excellent care of us and was very helpful in making us select the food items. The location is astonishing and so is the ambiance. You can choose to sit out or inside the restaurant based upon the weather conditions.
The icing on the cake was an excellent Indian Tea provieded by Praveen bhai at the end of our dinner. Overall a five star experience. A must visit place if you are an Indian at Gudauri.

During our stay in Gudauri, our hotel didn’t have a restaurant, so someone recommended Haweli Indian Restaurant — and I’m so glad they did! From the moment I contacted the owner, he was incredibly kind and helpful, even though I didn’t get a chance to meet him in person.
At the restaurant, I met Mr. Pinna, one of the staff members who manages the place. What a wonderful person — polite, humble, and so down to earth. Honestly, it felt like meeting an elder brother away from home.
The food was absolutely delicious, just like homemade Indian food — full of authentic flavors and warmth. My wife and I enjoyed every bite and had a truly memorable experience.

Haveli Restaurant in Gudauri has easily become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving real Indian comfort food. As a Filipina married to an Indian man for many years, my palate is genuinely used to spices and the flavors of home-style Indian cooking—so I don’t say this lightly: after trying several restaurants around here, nothing has beaten Haveli for taste, quality, and consistency.
Their Chicken Biryani is the absolute star for me—fragrant, flavorful, and cooked just right. I also keep coming back for the laccha paratha, the kadhai chicken, and the butter tawa roti (soft, buttery, and perfect with any curry). And if you love comfort food, don’t skip the rajma—it’s rich, hearty, and tastes like it was made with care.
What makes the experience even better is the hospitality. The staff are Indian, and they’re incredibly friendly, accommodating, and warm, especially Praveen—my husband even asked for extra onions and carrots, and they happily arranged it without any fuss.

It’s a great little for trying flavours. In case you are an Indian or from any place where people like a little spicy food, you are surely going to enjoy the food there. They give you the option from less to high spicy level of dishes. Everyone can enjoy the food there by selecting the spice level of their own taste. Paneer items tasted a little sweet though. Ofcourse we didn’t enjoy that sweet mixed. Rest of the food items were great. Food quantity is also enough in a serving, especially of biryani. Alcohol options are available too.

We had a dinner delivery to our hotel after a long day of skiing with the kids and it was amazing. food was absolutely authentic and delicious. ordering was quick and easy. make sure to set the spiciness level to your taste (low spiciness was still quite hot in a good way though)

Ordered delivery from Haveli on a very cold evening and it was perfect. The food arrived warm, well-packed, and tasted great. Really good Indian and Indochinese dishes—exactly what you want after a long ski day in the snow. Pinna was particularly helpful and quick to respond on any queries we had about the place and recommended some good options.
